Making a bunch of trades ultimately ruins your association and you never give a player a chance to develop. The point of having a bunch of 19 and 20 year olds in the draft is to develop the talent...all I hear is I drafted player X(who probally was the best available player at that position) and next year I traded him to team X for player Y....It makes no sense for the CPU to do it but the player constantly does it?? If you want the BEST association experience you as the player has to refrain from a bunch of unnecessary moves and so do the CPU.

So I think I'm gonna go with as is...DC1 1.0 and then DC2 2.0...should make it interesting to see differences. I'm just hoping DC22.0 is done in time for my year 3 beginning!Comment

Very glad to see you guys are still doing work on the 360. I always admired your guys' classes and dedication to the project.
Sucks that the Next-Gen draft class editor is so stripped down that you can't even change a player's face or hairstyle. Whatever the CPU generates is what you get. Guess I gotta work with it though.Twitter: @TyroneisMaximus

I know you guys don't typically do the whole ETA thing, but I'm not sure how long the revamp takes per class? I'm trying to drag out my association to be ready for DC2 2.0. You thinking days or weeks? Thanks guys for making this fun as hell!Comment

I know Dreece has started the revamp of DC2 already. And he's also put off DC7 so the revamp has priority right now.Comment

But seriously I'm working on everything now, I do have a family to tend to but I will be speeding through as usual. An overhaul doesn't take as long as the creation of the class. I'm just a hardcore tester bro. You will be very grateful when I'm done.
@Blindside Omg watch out for Hector Garrison! You thought Francis was getting busy..I can't wait to test after the 1st 40.
And the 1st 40 will be complete at somepoint tonight. Keep ya eyes on the thread and the comments coming! We bout to do it big!!SimWorld NBA 2K19 Fictional Draft Classes

Re: The Game Changers NBA 2K14 Fictional Draft Classes by CWSapp757/Dreece for XBOX 3
What up guys. Glad to see all of the activity in the thread. I know I have been rather inactive but that is because I was putting together something new for the project. UKWildcat had me thinking about the way I put together my mock drafts. There has always been a ton of thought behind how I rank the players but I was thinking that I wanted to formulate something a little more consistent and systematic. So with that being said, I came up with this....
From here on out, the mock drafts that you will see in the thread and the scouting report will be determined using a formula that I came up with today. For any of you that read the previous scouting report, you will know that each player profile now has a "player's current status" section, "player's potential ceiling" section and "chance of reaching potential ceiling section". The mock draft/player rankings will now be determined by a formula that takes into account all of these different areas.
The current status section and player potential section have the same scale. Both sections have the possible listing of Far From NBA Ready, Not NBA ready, Almost NBA Ready, Bottom of the Bench, Middle of the Bench, Top of the Bench, Sixth Man, Starter, High Profile Starter, All Star, Superstar, Franchise Player and Legend. The "chance of reaching potential ceiling" is represented by a percentage. I come up with this percentage based off this player's potential rating across the three different versions of the classes and the overall difference in a player's "best case scenario version" and "worst case scenario" version. Here is where the formula comes in to play. Each of those previously listed "statuses" equates to a certain amount of points. "Far From NBA Ready" equates to five points, Not NBA Ready equates to ten points, Almost NBA Ready equates to fifteen points and so on and so forth in increments of five. In order to determine a player's total points we use this formula:
(Player's Current Status) + (Player's Potential Ceiling) + (Player's Potential Ceiling * Chance of reaching potential ceiling)
So for example, say a player is currently a middle of the bench player with the potential to be a starter and has a 75 percent chance of reaching his potential. His total score would be 25 + 40 + (40 *.75) = 95
Now lets say Player B is also currently a middle of the bench player and he has the potential to be a high profile starter. However, he has a 45 percent chance of reaching his ceiling. Although he may have a higher potential ceiling his overall score would be a 90.25. Do you take the risk with player B because he has a higher ceiling or go with player A because he has a better chance of reaching his ceiling (albeit it a lower ceiling).
This little formula puts you in a position where you HAVE to scout. There are three different versions of these classes so you can look like the smartest guy in the room or you can get bit in the butt. Hopefully, this will add a bit more realism to our classes and I hope you guys enjoy the new addition.SimWorld NBA 2K19 Fictional Draft Classes

Hey guys I was just catching up on reading what I had missed the last day or so, and I noticed that Dreece gave out some wrong information about the scouting. I do not know about scouting during the year because I leave that to the computer but I do the pre draft workouts myself. You are allowed to run a player through 2 of the pre draft workouts instead of the 1 that he stated before.
And on to the other point I have. I am really looking forward to running my franchise with Adam Cameron 2.0 and Andrew Wiggins!!!! They have been nasty together in the first release.Comment
