Hey VT, used your rosters exclusively for 2k13 so when I picked up 2k14 about a week ago the first thing I did was download your rosters and they are great again this year. I would not play 2k anymore if it wasn't for your rosters and draft classes. Thanks for your hard work.

Just downloaded this cus everyones acting like Jesus made this roster and after i got done playing a game i looked through team management and i seen a buch of players with a 25 OVR (IDK why u did this maybe for a reason but 2 me its kinda STUPID)also i think you Over-Rated some of the Player Ratings & also the Missing Players have no portrait id rather use Rondo Is God's -Take That 2K- Now thats a Good Roster i give Trifecta a 4/10 sorry VT love all your Retro Projects Though also why does it take SOOOOOOOO long to do a update i mean all you have to do is update little by little

Sorry, but my boy VT probably has been wondering if I had seen this post because he knows how I feel about these type of comments left towards him, myself or our roster set. Let me make one thing perfectly clear to marcuscouch10 here. Young man, I do mean that very litteraly as you are the same age as my varsity boys team, do you have any idea how long we worked on this roster set? That's a retorical question and the answer is no you dont. We started working on this roster set on October 1st, 2013 at around 12:20 am PST, the moment I got home from picking up my pre-ordered game. VT was unsure if he was going to get 2K14, which is why he continued to work on our 2K13 roster set and update that for everyone as the 2013-14 season was approaching. Now VT did get 2K14 which made this whole thing possible as he does the editing to all the ratings and I handle the player movement and players contracts/salaries and bio information, but the last thing I will stand for or even accept is someone posting a response in our roster thread the way you did. If my freshman and sophomore teams didn't have a game yesterday believe me I would've responded to your post in a much more dark tone then this.

Now to you asking why isn't anything updated, I suggest you go to the first page of this thread and very carefully read the opening post and probably use the ZOOM button so that you can read it very very carefully so you can understand it. What is the point in making a roster set for the community to use to get a better experience out of the game if you are going to constantly and daily up out and update? Do you realize that updating something on a daily basis and then releasing that update most likely ruins any chance that you have of taking full advantage of this game. Furthermore if you read the opening post carefully you will see that this roster set is designed SPECIFICALLY for ASSOCIATION MODE USERS. Also if you continue to read and understand the opening post VT makes it very clear when an update to our roster set take place and if you are going to get on anyone about why its not updated then come to me because I'm the one that came up with that specific timeline to update our roster set because that way the community and the users who download the roster set can play it and enjoy it and it gives myself, VT and those who contributed and opportunity to also enjoy OUR work that we put not hours, not days, not weeks, but months into.

Like I said our roster set is designed for hardcore association mode users and putting out daily roster updates totally defeats the purpose of starting an association when if we put out a daily update users would have to start ALL OVER AGAIN. My timeline schedule for putting out an update to our set is designed specifically around the most important times of the NBA season and it gives us a window of 4-6 weeks to relax and recharge.

Also, VT did all these edits to all 30 teams, plus the free agent pool with NO ROSTER EDITOR. We did not have the luxury that we had last year with Leftos providing us with a roster editor until Vlad was done building and ready to release the REDITOR MC. We also do not hex edit our roster set because that only corrupts and damages the file and therefore can't be downloaded over 2kshare, so we do everything by hand the long way until the REDITOR MC was able to work with 2K14.

Its comments like yours that make me wanna not want to share our work with anyone because anyone with a xbox 360 has the same editing capabilities that myself and VT have, the only difference is that many lack the drive, or the work ethic to spend all that time editing a roster set. Myself and VT, we edit and release this roster set, with only 2 peoples requests and suggestions that matter the most....His and mine. Thats not saying that we disregard or we ignore anyone when they ask why something is the way it is, but we won't be changing anything to accomdate anyone, again, they have the same editing capabilities that we do, once they download our roster set, if they want to add their own unique thing to it, more power to them, they should because its their own personal one now.

My advice to you is that before you reply back to me is to be very careful what you say and how you word it because what you posted I take offense to and I take it as a sign of disrespect to myself and more importantly to my partner VT who as far as I know, you don't know us that well to voice your comment. Because if you wanted to go there, I will tell you that I did happen to download and take a look at the UltimatePC roster set that you upload for the 360 and I believe you were posting when the next update would take place and that date arrived and there was nothing, not to make you feel that I was expecting you to release any update.

Ok, so now that I got that off my chest and I've had a chance to calm myself down, in the future kid, I expect you to be respectful of the work that anyone in the community does and they do it for FREE. There is no law that says we have to share our roster set with anyone, we could very well have just kept it for us and our close friends and family. We could have been arrognant and posted all the things we were doing and putting into the roster set, but it wouldn't be released the community at large. No we don't take the low road because we are all here trying to better the game each year, we are fixing what is broken yearly with the game and all that time and energy and effort and sacrifice that the community as a whole does by far should have you feel privaledged that so many people would want to voluntarily share their work with you. Just keep that in mind before you bash on someones roster set because until I see you release one that has the attention to detail and the precision to it that ours has your room to speak is kinda closed.

I think this is a good time to chime in on a positive note... I've tried many rosters... And I tend to get the gist of a project before I download anything (meaning find out whats on it first)... These guys have the best playing roster, PERIOD. I still try other rosters to see if you can get a better experience and but ultimately, the changes that Vt and Eaglerock make to this roster are the ones that matter most. I've even changed the sliders and THEN compared this rosters to others and it still comes out on top. As a result, the Trifecta series is the standard by which all other rosters are measured. Quick shout out to Rondo is God. I think that his roster is the closest thing to Trifecta plus he gives added bonus of additional colorways, ect. But as far as pure gameplay, Trifecta all day! These rosters put 2K to shame. These gentlemen deserve our respect and admiration. I'd like to say thank you.

Appreciate the kind words Perfect, very sincere. Just like vannwolfhawk, as he is also a high school varsity basketball coach (just like myself), when you get coaches involved in roster projects it just adds a deeper element to the entire roster set and thats where 2k seems to not be up to speed with that if you want some actual real feedback about your basketball game, it would seem that basketball coaches would probably be a resource or pipeline that you take advantage of. Big props to Rondo is God, I have to agree with you. He has done a fantastic job with his roster set and his alternate colorways are a great addition and unique perk. I downloaded his roster file and I'm still trying to understand how the hell he was able to do them when all the video tutorials I've watched so far all say that it can't be done on the console games becasue you need the files inside of the roster files, but I'm sure that all I have to do is ask Rondo how he did it and he'll give me a brief walkthrough.

This roster set you could say real close to perfection, but perfection is unattainable, but in pursuing perfection you recognize greatness and what I'm doing to our roster set should make everyone recognize the greatness that is TRIFECTA, because anything that is missing in the game whether it be records, awards, player stats, hall of famers, arenas, coaches, players...I am inputting and adding them all in and thanks to myself for saving my 2K11, 2K12 and 2K13 roster files that I can still open them all up in Reditor MC and Reditor II and go back and grab many things that are missing from 2K14 that was once in the game in any of those 3 editions.

And if I'm not mistaken 2K15 will be made for current gen right? Can someone perhaps confirm that is if its been announced, I'm assuming at the moment that it will be made for current gen, but I dread at the thought that if it is, did they take out Association mode? If they did, and they are making 2K15 for current gen to be released in October I will have go on record right now and say that I will with no regrets pass on 2K15 and stick with 2K14 as we can build from scratch 2K15 roster and it no doubt would be 1,000,000 times better then 2K's set for 2K15. However if they are making 2K15 for current gen and did not take out Association mode then I have no problem getting the game, but I doubt I'll pre order it and waste $60 when I can wait about a week after its released and save myself $10-12 and get it pre-owned. I'm hesitant to throw my hard earned money away and just hand it to 2K when they continously over the past few years ignored the association mode community and put their focus more on the MyPlayer and MyTeam modes which are just basically watered down Association modes with the only difference being you control either MyPlayer or you control MyTeam, but that's the only REAL difference. So let's hope they don't mess with it and who knows all of us current gen people will be able to get the best 2K15 experience out of everyone else around.

I DONT want to throw a monkey wrench in any plans for 2k15, BUT this is Looking like LAST year I will be editing. Nothing set in stone, just the amount of hours I pour into projects is wearing me down. It is like have 2 MORE jobs(with NO Pay). LOL.
