I guess Eaglerock went to bed and forgot to tell us that he was done for the day.

Actually I'm going on 30 hours straight with no sleep Dawg. My varsity advanced to the second round of our tournament yesterday so we play today at 4:30 pm PST so I'll be home till about 2:30-3 pm PST. It's taking me a bit longer then expected due to the fact that I'm including all the training camp cuts into free agency, especially those who are currently in the D-League, plus I took some time last night to help a fellow OS member and tester of our roster go through and show him how I go about using REDITOR MC for 2K14 and Excel spreadsheets and how to copy and paste the ratings without overlapping or accidently pasting things in the wrong row and column which would lead to the roster file being unreadable or damaged or would freeze at some point. Trust me, all the information that 2K just ignored to attach and input is ALOT especially when someone as ANAL as myself gets ahold of the file and sees it for himself, everyone is lucky I'm still not banging my head against my desk wondering how 2K is able to still employ these people.

Be that as it is, I'm getting through what I have listed to get through, but I don't skip steps and I dont take shortcuts unless I know that shortcut won't have me having to redo a great deal of re-inputting because I wasnt focused or paying attention to what I was doing.

Just so that everyone knows I kept the following players hidden and locked....

Just telling you; Arroyo, Dowdell, Erden, Fernandez, Krstic, Law, Songalia, White, and Jianlian all are currently on international teams; whereas all of the others are either coaching, not playing, or retired. I'm pretty sure that most of the first nine players that I stated are good enough to return to the NBA and be successful.

EDIT: Rudy Fernandez will play in Spain for at least 3 seasons.
Carlos Arroyo and Nenad Krstic will not return to the NBA indefinitely.
Zabian Dowdell will most likely not return to the NBA.
Acie Law will not return to the NBA.
Darius Songalia, Semih Erden and Terrico White will most likely return to the NBA.
Yi Jianlian will play in China for at least 2 seasons.

Yes, but they the majority of players on that list have not played in the NBA in at least 2 years so that is why I'm not including them. I don't want to take up roster slots with players whose future as to whether or not they return to play in the NBA is not guaranteed. Of course if one does return all anyone will have to do is send me back their Association file and I'll unlock that player and update him for accuracy and e-mail them their file right back and they can continue their Association with said player now unlocked and available.

How's it going VTCRB? I was just curious of why Lebron, Russell and John Wall doesn't have finisher? It's my first time seeing any roster maker set up skills like that. I haven't had the chance to dive into the roster yet, but I will soon. Always great work by you and thank you for the roster I know it's awesome as always.

If you think that those players should have that signature skill then you can add them to each player. If you think we missed something or left something out or put something in that shouldn't be in by all means with your file that you downloaded you can edit it to your liking. Myself and VT know that everyone is not going to agree with us when it comes to why players have this or dont have that, thats why we always have said that after we release the roster set if you see something is off in your eyes then in your file that you downloaded you are free and more then welcome to edit it and change it around.

I didn't take your post as coming off as rude, I just thought I'd throw it out there so that VT wouldn't be asked that question over and over again by other community members or new members just joining. There is always madness behind our reasoning.

Update on Association Template File...

I AM FINALLY DONE WITH THE PLAYERS SECTION!!!!

Now I just gotta take out the generic coaches and staff members and replace them with the real teams staff members, I'm hoping that won't take any longer then at least an hour at the most.

Can you be more specific? What type of errors are you getting that you didn't get before with the file? I don't deal with Modio, I only deal with Horizon and I have yet to ever experience any of our files having errors.

Ok everyone, in order to get this file out by the end of the night I am in need of some help by anyone who is willing to do some research and do some inputting into a spreadsheet.

Here's what the issue is...I am going to put together a two spreadsheets for those who are intersted in helping me out while I'm at my game this afternoon. The first spreadsheet is going the Staff section from the Association Template file that I exported from REDITOR MC. The second spreadsheet will be what the Staff section needs to be look like when I copy/paste it back into REDITOR MC.

Anyone who is willing to from now until I get back home from my game what I need you to do to edit and add the coaching staffs to all 30 NBA teams. The Head Coaches obviously are all correct. The Assistant Coach, NBA Scout, Prosepct Scout, and the two Prospect Scouts that are invisible in the game need to be edited from generic coaches and replaced with the actual coaching staff.

Sorry for delay in responding, just got home from work.

Finisher is Actually a Sig Skill that those guys dont need as they have High Layup, and All Inside Shot Attributes. IF you add the SIG Skill Finisher it makes them almost Impossible to miss inside on Layup attempts and GREATLY increases their AND1's success. Everyone has a different take on SIG Skills, I just feel Finisher can be Overpowered for Certain players. Especially Strong Players like LeBron. Hope this makes sense. If you have anymore questions feel free to ask, nothing is EVER 100% so I am sure I overlooked at LEAST 1 thing. LOL.

LaMarcus was due the fact I wanted to Keep Portland Core together and by keeping him as a Starter, I HOPED it would keep him from wanting too large of Contract. Samething really with Dirk, he is in Last Year of Contract and was hoping being a Starter would make for LESS $$ to have to Re-Sign for Giving USERs an Opportunity to build with Mavs.

I HONESTLY am thinking of making EVERYONE just a Starter(instead of Star) Hoping that MIGHT help some with Player Morale and Contracts.
