I will say that I am not speaking for VTCRB, but I am sure that he appreciates the compliments and the praise that the majority of you guys give on here. I myself, tend to usually be the man behind the scenes, mostly because I'm not that much for attention, but I guess being the silent type it attracts attention. It's sad though that the majority of you are understanding and remain in a positive frame of mind and that the minority of those who feel entitled to "free" hardwork ruin it for everyone else. I know because usually when someone tells me that they are "just going to go away and enjoy what the created" my response is always "why are you going to punish many over the fault of a few", but what it really shows is where people put things in terms of value to in their lives. Heaven forbid myself or vtcrb were ever in a car accident and suffered major injuries to our bodies that would prohibit us from even touching our 360 controller. I could only assume that the wrath of negative feedback we would get if we didn't respond to any posts or questions over a two week period. I'm not saying that situation has come up, its just an example, might've been an over the top example, but wanted everyone to see my point that nobody is obligated to provide you with anything from here. There's no contracts, money exchanging between parties and for those who still have a 360 and decided to wait on gettin the XBOX 1, if the new gen consoles limit the ability to edit their games like we are able to right now alot of you might regret the day you decided to speak so negatively about lack of updates or unfullfilled promises because you don't know what you got til its gone and one day us roster editors will be sorely missed by everyone, especially if we go on strike and deem that our work is for our eyes and our eyes only.

I hope you guys never leave, unless next-gen allows editing on this level, without you guys and guys like you, this game is completely unplayable. I think I was finally able to fix my problems with his game, or maybe 2K finally got their act together, but I was able to update content correctly through live for the first time in months.

I was experiencing freezing in all my files including this one, so I deleted everything. I know there's an association file update coming and VTCRB has recently dropped a fixed up 2K14 Draft Class. Will the association file update with the new jerseys/draft class till be a little bit, or should I hold off using the file already released and wait for the file to be out soon? Don't want a date, I know you roster makers don't like to give them out and I'm not trying to rush anybody, don't think I will, but I want to get into it soon and would rather not wait until 2nd-round-ish times.

I think it may be the latter, but it was happening with most of my files for me, likely something on my end.

As you stated you Finally were able to update your content , i think its possible this could be an on going online data issue

I'm not quite sure how long he was a member of the community on here (probably longer then myself), but he was a very loyal member and was always willing to help out in testing rosters for roster makers and had a vast knowledge of basketball and was a well respected member throughout the community. He had tested this years game through the roof for vtcrb while we were putting it together and editing it for it's official release. Sadly, he passed away and vtcrb and myself wanted to do something to honor his memory and not only a member of the community but as a great person so vtcrb ask Steve if he could rename the thread and that's why it says "In Memory of OS Member DEATHSTRYK"

It's funny how the past sets up in the present and predicts the future. What I mean by that is...the Miami Heat are trying to become the first team since the Lakers and Celtics of the 1980's to make it to 4 straight NBA Finals. Ever since the 80's the Pistons, Bulls, Lakers (2 times) and Heat are the only teams to appear in 3 straight NBA Finals. Now I've gone on record since last year that the Heat would not three-peat and they wouldn't even make it to the Finals and everyone kept asking why would i say that and its very simple, this isn't the summer of 2010 anymore, that was going on 4 years ago. The Miami Heat since they got the big 3 have played 312 regular season games plus an additional 67 playoff games making a total of 379 games since October 2010 - April 18th, 2014. After the 2010-11 season, the Miami Heat got a total of 196 days rest til the lockout was over and the season started on 12/25/2011. Teams that didn't make the playoffs had 256 days rest. After the 2011-12 season the Heat had 131 days rest til the start of the 2012-13 season while teams that didn't make the playoffs had 187 days rest. Following the 2012-13 season the Heat got 131 days off til the 2013-14 season started while teams that didn't make the playoffs had 195 days rest. The human body nowadays even though the advancement of recovery time and athletes ability to play through such great physical pain, it catches up them sooner or later. Again this isnt't the summer of 2010 anymore, we nearly 4 years later and players bodies have gone through an extensive time frame where it gets beat up constantly and never has enough time to recouperate. It's not that I don't think the Heat are capable of getting back to the Finals, I just think that at somepoint over the next 4-5 weeks we are going to see them game by game become a step slower and guys will be more vulnerable to an injury. Now if they do happen to make it then I am proven wrong in the sense they couldn't get to 4 straight, but getting there about all the good things you should expect. I don't see them at all beating the Spurs in a 7 game series, not this year (and although I think that Jeff Hornacek or perhaps Randy Wittman or Steve Clifford and Terry Stotts) should get high consideration for Coach of the Year, what did Greg Popovich do differently this year then he did last year when he won the award? All the Spurs did was go from 58 wins last season to a league best 62 wins this season. I respect the hell out of Popovich as a coach because Tim Duncan at 37 years old is still effective and can still lead a team to victory and that's because Pop doesn't care if they are up by 20 or down by 20 he tells Duncan you won't be 30+ minutes no matter what, until it counts and that time is coming now.

So here are 1st round predictions...

Eastern Conference:
(1) Pacers vs. (8) Hawks - Pacers in 5
(2) Heat vs. (7) Bobcats - Heat in 6
(3) Raptors vs. (6) Nets - Raptors in 7
(4) Bulls vs. (5) Wizards - Bulls in 7

Western Conference:
(1) Spurs vs. (8) Mavericks - Spurs in 5
(2) Thunder vs. (7) Grizzlies - Thunder in 7
(3) Clippers vs. (6) Warriors - Warriors in 7**
(4) Rockets vs. (5) Blazers - Blazers in 6**

**Constitutes my upsets in the 1st round**

Oh and my reason for posting this was look at the Lakers and how the Heat just coincidentally follow the same path...

2007-08 - 1st trip to the NBA Finals, Lakers lost to Celtics in 6 games
2008-09 - 2nd trip to the NBA Finals, Lakers beat Magic in 5 games
2009-10 - 3rd trip to the NBA Finals, Lakers beat Celtics in 7 games

2010-11 - 1st trip to the NBA Finals, Heat lost to Mavericks in 6 games

Ok for some reason myself and vtcrb, we haven't once yet experienced any freezing issue with our roster. I don't know what you guys are doing when you load the game up or go to play whatever mode you play, but if myself and vtcrb aren't experiencing any freezing and we both basically the same file (he has the actual one since he's updating it, I on the other hand have the demo one) then telling us that you are getting these freezing problems or damanged wont load alerts doesn't really call for us to investigate what the issue is because its not happening to us.

I can say I have never a problem using this file...but I have downloaded it off of 2kshare so there shouldn't be any problem there.

Just realized you said you would just input the jerseys into an already started file when they're ready, guessing you'd do the same for the DC, my bad. I will put in the association file later tonight and see if I experience any freezing, I hope not since my online data seems to be fixed.

I'm not going to mess with jerseys at all until I have confirmation from Rondo is God that I implemented them the right way in my spreadsheet. When he gets back to me and gives me the thumbs up then I will add them, but until then they are on hold.
