I'm currently waiting for Tomba to drop some sliders as I am a fan of his but, I'm currently using Pared's Tweaks in my assoc with the heat with nogsters rosters, post patch and I must say...I'm very happy!
Pared addressed essental things like shot percentages and stuff like that and I have got some good numbers. High 40% in FG and about 50% in 3pts (I take what is given because I play on HOF)

Overall thanks Pared, your tweaks are cold!

I also play on 40-45 game speed so I can get a good feel of the game. lol

I have to say, after a number of games on Pro, he default shooting sliders won't need a lot of tweaking. %'s are pretty damn good.

Still testing... but damn, they really dropped shooting success.

Foul sliders also will need addressing. I think I have that set up well.

Is Pro still providing enough of a challenge for you Pared? I'm playing on allstar with Playmaker's set and am struggling for the most part. 2-5 in my Bulls association. Mainly because the CPU is shooting enormous percentages most nights.

I would gladly drop to Pro if I knew that I could still lose.

Yes I'm having challenging games on Pro, especially with the new changes made post-patch.

I'm going about 12 mins quarters. FGA are just a tiny bit high, so I'm still trying to bring them down.

I'm hoping to have the update mid-week. There's really not much to tweak aside from a few things, similar to my previous set.

Pared I am using your sliders with the latest roster from 2K Insider (November 7th) and I am having a BLAST! I've been playing at 10 minutes per quarter, but I will bump it up to 12 minutes because in order for me to score over 90 points I've had to push the tempo a lot.

Now I have played two games and the two have been very challenging vs 76ers a three point win and vs Nets a seven point victory, but your sliders make us play defense it trully feels like you're coaching, playing and simply in the game at all times. If you look for the good shot they'll go in, if you force them it's a no-no.

I have a little problem though the CPU does not miss if they're open, well they do but barely this we might address and also they always come back if they're down double digits in the 4th, is this within the sliders or what?

Overall I am loving it and would reccomend to everyone: 2K's latest roster update, correct all team rotations if you wanna include injured guys (Jamison, Martin, Harris, etc.. not Yao) and use it with Pared tweeks.

Man, I get absolutely burned on the pre patch sliders.

Pared, really looking forward to updated tweaks from you. I really thought the game played excellent with your last batch before the patch.

Agree, right now im running w/ Pro on the default sliders.... After bunch of games feels ok, but not quite right.... But i kinda stink 1-4 right now at the start of my association .... looking forward to your update

hey guys,

ive been using playmakers all-star sliders, and the game is playing pretty well. the major issues for me though have been the cpu catching up on fast breaks and ,to an even greater extent, the superhuman warping that occurs on defensive rotations when the cpu gets beat. this is leading to some low fg%s for me (last game i shot like 27%!). everything else feels pretty good with those sliders.

my question for you all is, are you seeing this warping and cpu catch up ability on fast breaks on the pro difficulty level? if not, i may try the playmakers sliders on pro, or just go with pareds sliders straight up. thanks in advance.

Pared your absolutely right about Pro. I deleted every NBA 2K10 related save from my hard drive and cleared my cache. Then I loaded up a new Association on default Pro. I did lower the shooting sliders for both teams and raise the foul sliders to what you originally suggested.

My first game as the Bulls against the Spurs I immediately grabbed a double digit lead and was thinking 'Man this is just too easy'

Famous last words. I ended up scraping through with a 99-97 win in OT. I shot 39% and the CPU shot 45%. I'm really looking forward to getting some time later tonight for another game.

Thanks for making me see the error of my ways. There is no point trying to force yourself to play on a difficulty setting that your just not feeling.
