So pared do you get the CPU catch up logic even though you have both the human and CPU quickness at the same level? Especially on fast breaks?

Hey i am using pared's sliders and i have quickness at 30. However i am noticing quite a bit of sliding on the court. Does anyone know how to reduce sliding?? Thanks

A suggestion for all of you that have easy time getting into the paint against cpu.Set Go for on ball steals for cpu at 0.This will prevent cpu players try to steal the ball everytime you pump fake.At 0 they attempt to steal more realistically and the most important: They stay with their player blocking the line to the paint.

a little hard to explain but i found that when you get passing lane steals, the player that actually gets the loose ball off of a tip gets more of a running start & the cpu does not catch up as often...

my solution that i found was not having to do with speed because the cpu has the "catch up logic" based on difficulty level & there is NOTHING you can do about that.

i found that adjusting my sliders to get more steals off of TIPS in the passing lanes as oppose to flat out interceptions resolved SO much on that issue.

(not trying to overstep your thread Pared... actually think you should test out what im saying since you're the guru & i respect your insight)

No offense taken at all, ron. We're all trying to enjoy the game.

The speedup "issue" is dependent on the difficulty level. That's why I suggest to go with Pro. You shouldn't even notice it b/c it's barely even there.

the only problem I'm having with these sliders is that the CPU never drives it to the pnt., any suggestions?

Just tried these again and they still aren't working for me. CPU shoots way too high of a FG% and my team is full of ******s on D.

You're probably better off looking elsewhere then. These are designed to make Pro more difficult, and not by dumbing down your defense.

Agreed. I think "full of Duke fans" would be a much more appropriate way of getting the same point across.

Pared, I put on ball defense and defensive awareness at 100 for the AI. So far it has made it more difficult which is good. Is there anything negative perhaps to putting these at 100 which I might have not seen yet?

Nothing really stat-wise, it will just turn decent to poor defenders into really good defenders though.

Hmm...that may be what I need then. I don't know what it is but with these sliders, I'm constantly averaging about 52% shooting with the Bobcats. I don't take an overly exorbitant amount of shots from the paint either.

Instead of improving CPU Defense, try to decrease your offense efficiency. I mean not by sliders tweaking, but by taking some forced/dumb shot sometimes. IRL players are not focused and rational for all 48 minutes, as you can be when playing a videogame.
