If you put the game speed at 48, it will make a second longer than it is in real time. Also, if you even skimmed the thread you would notice where Pared said that you can use these how you want to and adjust according to your own style. They are tweaks, not sliders.

I use these and like them. 2k needs to work on foot planting and the mid-range game next year IMO.

Do these sliders work on all star or are they only made for pro? Also I like the speed 48 rather than 50 how much of a difference does that make? Camera view makes a big difference here I use nosebleeds now. I play on 8 quarters but I like to play as close as possible to default. I had the same problem on madden it seems sliders changes the game a lot. I could never find a good set and never was happy or really enjoyed the game because of it. The problem with sliders is you start wondering if the game plays a certain way because of sliders or how you play it. I am running into the same problem in basketball. If you pick a average team default is mostly competitive. However if you are one of the tops pro and all star are normally to easy. I hate sliders for that reason just want to play a game and enjoy it and have it feel real! Any thoughts?

I'm not sure how they would work on All-Star, as I've played on PRO since I bought the game. I'm 1-2 in my Thunder Association so far and I think these tweaks are great.

The best advice I can give you is to just go ahead and give them a try and after 4-5 games, see what the results were and then make additional changes if you feel the need.

Ya with these tweaks or sliders whatever you want to call them I had good games on pro. I was playing all pro and doing ok if I was the bulls or heat. If I was lakers I would dominate on whatever slider set. So I tried these as lakers vs cavs and they played very well. I thought pro would give me more of a advantage like last year but its been changed. On pro the cpu makes a lot more shots and plays more balanced. Nothing feels forced like when you change sliders around all the time! There was never a time in the game I felt like I was playing on the easiest level. I did get a lot more steals from traps then I would on all pro but I just adjusted steal success some!

They definitely work on All-Star. Problem is the AI plays a more realistic game on Pro. So it's a catch-22.

I've been using these tweaks for awhile now. Only problem is - CPU is paint cheesing me hard now. It seems like it's been picking up the past few games I've played in my assoc. I don't know how else to explain it.

This game 70 of 111 PIP for CPU. They are just going inside on me far too often. I have tendencies now at 45 for inside/close shots and 53 for mid/3pt shot. Maybe it's backdoor cuts as well, that's another thing I've noticed. I can guard it perfectly but if the CPU gets a little space it's taking it regardless on the lead pass BS. Very frustrating. Any help would be nice. Thanks.

I've been messing with these sliders forever. They work pretty well on All-Star, except scoring in the paint has always been way too easy. To put it in perspective, the 54 I scored in this game represents a disappointing output by my normal standards. I do not abuse pick and roll (I use it about five times a game). It's just always been too easy to drive into the paint and finish without much fear of being blocked or missing. I want to get stopped by good defense, but balancing normal dunk and layup misses in traffic with breakaway wide open slider-induced misses has been frustrating.

With the durability, to cause more injuries, you have to raise it.

Othere wise epretty good. But put cpu bsckdoor cut to 5.

Wait, the higher the durability slider, the more frequent injuries are? That's completely counterintuitive.

i find i dont get enough foul shots in a game u think i should raise it from 65 to 80?

No changes. Fouls are tough... if you raise the shooting fouls then you can almost draw them at will in the paint. You can try increasing commit fouls a bit, but don't go too high or else you'll be at the line more than you should be.
