BTW, I fixed the foul settings. I was confused with sending someone a private game invite. There, you can adjust slider settings in increments like this: 73, 75, 77, 80, 83, etc.

In single player mode, you can only make changes by 5.

nice simple tweaks.. one key for me has been to be truly active defensively. EVERY possession counts on my end. I have accepted the fact that i need to babysit a few of my teammates and make sure BRANDON ROY is not sagging off of a JR SMITH, even when I put in the coach settings to play tight. I can't rely on anyone of my teammates so its all up to up.. so far so good.

only other tweak I changed was dunk in traffic down to 18 and my shooting sliders are mixed with yours and playmakers. a good balance thus far.

PIP may just be something I will be living with. no need to get anal about something like that. These games are meant for enjoyment

im having more fun in three days than I did with 2k5-2k9 combined. a whole new mindset in the works. half the battle is on our own mental side of things

You have to get better at defense.

QFT. Whether it's 2k or NBA Live you cannot afford to take one possession off. Get focused on both ends and start thinking like a coach not a video game player.

Yeah I don't see them changing, especially since my defense has picked up and I've learned the systems in place this year.

Sounds good, I got completely crazy from all the sliding with 2K9. Probably just have to deal with the points in the paint to some extent. Only things I want fixed are shooting percentages going down and get a realistic amount of fouls and free throws. Your tweaks seem to be just enough for that.

I play 8 min. quarters on All Star with these sliders.. They are surprisingly realistic..

If you can find the time, try to go at least 10. The numbers get even better.

Pared these are great. I have been using these on about 5 or 6 games so far on 9 min. and they are great! FG% have dropped drastically, from about 65% to the 45-55% range. The thing I haven't liked about using a huge set of sliders in the past is that it seems to dumb the game down CPU wise. For example turning the handles down makes it to where even the best ball handlers would sometimes lose the ball for no apparent reason. Now I think the game is playing the way it should.

Pared have you also adjusted the human shooting sliders to the same value as the cpu sliders in your OP?

I'm not posting user sliders because I can't predict how you guys play the game. Some people try to spam it in the paint, some like to take what the defense gives them, etc.

Thanks Pared sliders are great! I use your exact sliders, but I tried defense awareness @ 0 and the defense got 10x better without any weird defensive rotations. I played college ball and getting a realistic sim is a must, but do not want to be a slider nut anymore. Please test to see if you get the same results. I've been following forums for over a 2 years and getting tired of the whole slider, patch, slider, patch, slider scenario. You are right games should be for enjoyment not work.
