            DavonBrown:

I just used this slider set you posted on 1/29:

            http://www.operationsports.com/forum...post2040693771

I used the Magic and defeated the Wizards 99-93. The only thing I did differently than what you suggested was that I played on 12 minute quarters instead of 10.

            WIZARDS - MAGIC:

            FG: 39/88 - 35/75
            FG%: 44% - 46%
            3P: 4/13 - 6/19
            3P%: 30% - 31%
            FT: 11/17 - 23/30
            FT%: 64% - 76%
            AST: 32 - 23
            TO: 5 - 14
            FLS: 24 - 9
            REB: 38 - 48
            OREB: 6 - 8
            STL: 10 - 1
            BLK: 2 - 5
            PITP: 42 - 46
            BENCH PTS: 28 - 41
            2CH PTS: 4 - 7
            FB PTS: 4 - 0

Not bad at all. The Wiz put up 32 on me in the 1st quarter, but my defense settled in at the start of the 2nd quarter. Overall, both teams shot a realistic percentage from the field, just a little low from beyond the arc. The rebounding played out very well too I thought. The only things that were really skewed was that my team barely fouled the CPU for some reason and I turned the ball over way more than they did.

            Notable players:

            Josh Howard: 24 pts, 3 reb, 5 ast, 1 blk, 10/18 fg, 1-2 3pt, 3-4 ft, 34 min

            Dwight Howard: 17 pts, 12 reb, 1 ast, 7/11 fg, 3/5 ft, 37 min

I know it's only been one game, but these sliders are very good in my opinion. I'm going to stick with these and play a few more exhibition games with them and if all goes well, these will be the ones I use for my next association. Just wanted to give you some feedback. Thanks!

Re: Playmakers NBA 2K10 Pro Level Sliders

These sliders seem great except for a couple of things. I can get to the basket too easily, and once I am close to the basket I draw fouls way too easily. There always seems to be a disparity in the number of free throws I shoot (usually 40+) and the amount my opponent shoots. Any suggestions of how to fix that? Fouls away from the basket are fine.

exactly, their good sliders except thats a problem with the fouls that seem to be almost impossible to fix.....I have adjusted the commit fouls for both teams but after having played several games it seems as if it doesn't have much effect on it. This game is still broken to some degree in my opinion but I am not sure whether or not they have any plans for another patch.

Well there's two sliders you guys should be testing CPU Commit Fouls and Shooting Fouls

I'd set them both back to default 50 and then work backwards like 45-40 and see if that reduces the amount of fouls called on the CPU.

While doing that I'd also suggest maxing out the Human Commit Fouls slider since I believe that slider even at 100 tends to waver up and down giving the best game by game results on the amount of fouls called on the Human players.

I've had games where the fouls seem non-existent with that slider at 100 and then 1-2 games later the CPU ends up shooting like 18 FT's on me. So, it kinda wavers back and forth and if you really contest shots in the paint sometimes they tend to call everything on me.

I really don't mess with the sliders anymore because you'll be switching them each and every game if your impatient. Now i just roll with the Human Committ Fouls at 100 and Human Contest shots at 100 accept the fluctuating tendencies of the game when it comes to the CPU's FT's

                          Well,

I am using these sliders and have been for a while but I did change one thing.

I moved all of the shooting sliders back to default....layup success, dunk success, mid range success, short range success, etc. for both the CPU and Human.

I love it too. I've had games all over the place with these. Had a shoot out with Cleveland with both of us scoring 130...then I play the Hornets, who go 0-19 from the 3pt line for the game.

It's more about your release point in this game than sliders anyway. I've played 45 games in my Pacers association and have yet to see any reason to change the sliders again. Getting great results and a wide variety as well.
