Hey Playmaker great work on the sliders. I was wondering if these would work on Superstar, and if I was to use superstar, what areas should I tweak to balance it out?.....

I think these can be modified to play on Super Star but I haven't tested it out yet. Right now I'm totally locked in on All-Star level because i think the more time I put into the better results I'll continue to get.

I think these are getting very close to what I want as a Final Base set I'm just experiementing a little more and observing all the feedback being posted.

Sounds good....I just can't see how the CPU will drive to the basket with it at 34....I had it at 45 and they still never made a move toward it....

I think the seperation in sliders is what makes them tend to do things more or less. If i close the gap between Mid Range and Attack the basket it gets much better in flexibility.

Also do not underestimate the Look to Post player slider. I think that slider is very huge because it'll have teams initiating there offense out of the post and they good good post players that have really good IQ they'll do some nice things for the CPU and doesn't always involve them shootingit just because they got the ball.

I've Boston go to Garnett a lot with the 1st or 2nd pass and he's made some nice decisions with the ball depending on what my defense was doing. I'm also going to increase the Alley Oop slider back up just a tad bit because I'm taking the excitment out of the game on fast breaks by the CPU by lowering down too much.

I'll let that be more of USER preferance because that is one of the reasons why I love 2k10 the CPU even though they can kinda get out hand with it does it better than i've ever seen any CPU do it in any basketball game. Plus with verticals and ball handling being reduced down it makes for sweet looking turnovers if they fail to execute it right.

I'll give these sliders ago, I play on All Star all the time now and I'll try the gamespeed sliders at 50 and see what happens.

I'll play a game with the Kings @ Lakers to see what the outcome is.

Here's my results.

Half time score was 42-42, not highly impressive because I would look to be around 50 to 60 in my scoring in 2K9. 1st quarter, it all felt good. The plays felt smooth and it looked and felt great. 2nd quarter and it all changed, couldn't hit a shot to open the quarter, cheap fouls were being called against me, Kobe couldn't stay on the floor because of some stupid charging call. It actually all started at the end of the 1st where I lead 27-20 and they went for a 3 point shot, I tried to block it and didn't touch them and boom, a foul was called.

I think the fouls have to be changed for myself because some ticky tacky fouls were being called and they were all being called in the favour of the opposition.

Sliders removed because of the testing I have to do with the new found Player Speed slider.

Pretty good slider. A couple of issues I have that might be issues from the game itself than the slider adjustment. I still occasionally find one CPU controlled person leaves its man wide open for no good reason. Second issue I have is the reaching in fouls. Anytime I try a pump fake, the CPU will try to steal resulting a reaching in call. I've had maybe 10-15 calls of this nature. I'm not sure if this is a glitch of the game itself or the steal tendency needs adjustment.

CPU reach-in fouls might be an issue but gonna a more disciplined team before I make that call. Looking good Playmaker.

I lowered the reach in fouls to 65 and shooting fouls to 80. Works fine for me. Game almost done.

In regards to fouls it's going to take some slight tweaks for some. Because some people will see lots of fouls depending on QTR length and then there are some of us like myself who won't see many at all.

Keep in mind I use the Mavs and they don't have many guys that attack the rim besides JJB and Josh Howard at times so I take shots and play the way the Mavs play.

I'm also only playing 9 Minute qtr's and dictate the tempo alot because Dallas is going to play at a faster pace this year.

There are two sliders you can alter to bring down the fouls down

Reach In or under CPU Tendency lower their Committ fouls slider down.......

If the CPU is driving and kicking out too much you can increase the following two sliders

Take Inside Shot or Take Close Shot.

Also as several posters mentioned they weren't driving to the basketball enough so I boosted up their attack the basketball slider. But you can lower it down about 10 clicks if you feel they are starting to attack too much.

I hope that helps you guys with any tweaks you might need to make INDIVIDUALLY. I just tried to give a good base foundation to help out.

Ok guys first I'm going to apologize for doing this but I have to adjust the sliders just a little bit more because I wasn't aware until late lastnight that there was a player speed slider that could be used in game play.

Now I've been wanting to bump up my QTR minutes to around 11-12 but I didn't think it was possible until now.

Having said all that I'm going back down to my original game speed preference which is 45. Now before the players kinda struggled to get up court with the speed at 45. But there is a way to work around it for me now. I'm going to boost up Player Speed much like I've always done in NBA Live and then balance it out with the lower game speed slider and this going to allow your guys to sprint when they should and also with reduced quickness the sliding is going to be virtually 95% gone with this approach.

If you prefer the higher speeds you probably won't be able to adjust to these sliders but I will promise those who give it a fair chance your going to really LOVE the way the players are actually moving and taking steps on the floor. The animations will be seen very clearly and there will be more contact on the floor becuase of the game speed slider being slowed down which helps the collision detection big time.

What Player Speed setting are you thinking will work with Game Speed set to 45? I've been testing it with Game Speed of 45 and Player Speed at 55 and the game flow and player animations seems to be almost spot on.

Yep you have it exactly right.

Player speed at 55 with Game speed at 45 is best fuchin pace I've seen in this game. The animations are damn near flawless on that setup and I would highly encourage people to really take advantage of that Player Speed slider because it can mixed and matched to damn near perfection for any pace you to like see in the game.

Also, with Player speed at 60 and Gamespeed at 45 if your an uptempo player like myself since i control Dallas your going to absolutely love that setting.

I played Washington using player speed setting at 60 and the Final score was 117-109 Dallas as both teams pushed the pace so damn realistic that it didn't seem like the Game Speed slider was on 45.

I had to go go make sure it was on 45 because it felt like it was much higher with those two teams running and gunning.....

This evening after the football games I'm going to be posting the settings for both of those Game Play tempo's.

The two settings will be look this way

Balanced Tempo Pace
Game Speed-(45)
Player Speed-(5)
Player Quickness-(20)/CPU Quickness (10)

Uptempo Pace
Game Speed-(45)
Player Speed-(10)
Player Quikness-(15)/CPU Quickness (5)

The sliders will change somewhat for the Balanced Tempo to fit 11-12 QTR's. On Uptempo I'm probably going to leave them as they are posted on the Front page because Washington was jacking up shots very quickly using those settings but Arenas was also constantly trying to attack Jason Kidd off the dribble and get into the paint.
