Hey Punt, great job with your sliders. I have used every slider set on OS but finally settled on yours with a few minor tweaks. I have been getting great results in my association, much appreciated. I have played around 30 games with these sliders with very consistent stats while getting different style games almost every night.

Curious to know what tweaks you made. I've been playing with his sliders for sometime now so I'd like to see another opinion.

Another good game. Saw improvements in the FTs, I think it's because a few games ago I switched to 10min quarters so that screwed things up. I went back to 11min for this game, and things evened out. I think that's the sweet spot, although I haven't played many 12min games. Might be something I'll try later.

Suprisingly, I had a lot of fun with the Bobcats. It was a nice change of pace from the 76ers, and I didn't throw up as many 3pointers as I usually do. I think with a few personnel changes they could be a fun team. I'll try the Clippers next though, and see from there. Lol, I need to get started on an association but it's so hard to pick a team, hahaha.

Another good game. FTs were low in this one though. But they shot a ton of 3s and didn't really bother with working in the paint, so I guess that was to be understood. Horrendous D by them too, so I wasn't getting much resistance when I went inside. I tried to shoot more perimeter in this game, and except for the 4th quarter I stuck to it. They went full court press in the 4th though, so I hurried the ball down court and put the game away for good.

I'm really enjoying your All-Star sliders. I just got the game two nights ago. And well the game is wayyyy too hard out of the box and your sliders has helped me do a lot better but hah I still loose every game!

2k outdid themselves with this game. It's SICK!

Although I'd ONLY reccomend NBA 2k10 for the HARDCORE NBA fan (which I'm actually NOT)
And would reccomend NBA Live 2010 for the more arcade/recreational players.

Either way thanks for the sliders keep up the good work bro!

I'm getting really frustrated with these pro sliders. I just can't buy a win. I've lost 10 games in a row with the Pistons (79 ovr). My latest game, against the Thunder, I lost 100-74. I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I just cannot make a basket. It also feels like the CPU defense is too good and my defense is awful. Both are ranked equally at 82 (ovr). Take a look at this box score and tell me if there's any sliders i can adjust for this.

whoa, sorry about the ginormous image. I don't know how to fix that. Just right click and select "view image" and it'll open in a respectable size in a new window.

Another loss by more than 10 points. I just don't know what I'm doing wrong. It seems like the cpu can make any shot they want in traffic when it counts, but whenever i try it's a block or an air ball.

I'm playing these PRO sliders on PC even without the patch and I like it. I'm not looking for realism because I find when you look for that too much you miss out on actually playing the game... Its the same way in Madden... It's more important to find a set of sliders that play like you want without worrying about realism... Because realism is relative and never a static thing which is what makes sports so exciting...

Good job. I also tried several other sets, Playmakers and YeLLZ and I think these are the best.

Well put sir. I feel the exact same way as you do, and when I don't, I end up in slider hell just like everyone else (for the most part).

punt and anyone else, what would you say the major differences are between PRO and All-Star?

Re: NBA 2K10 Gameplay Sliders PuntNL

I kept getting absolutely owned with these sliders in association mode playing as the Thunder. I was giving up 50-60% from the floor and being held to 30-35%. I ended up backing off the CPU on-ball defense a bit (60) then making all the User/CPU sliders the same, if the CPU was higher, I raised the User to match it. My games are better now, but I've still lost 2 games but 10+ (Hawks, Grizzlies), lost on a last second shot to Spurs, and beat the Raptors by 4.

I still feel like it's too hard, but I'm new to the NBA 2K series. And I'm playing on PC pre-patch (no patch for PC yet) using a PS3 controller. I can't ever score consistently, sometimes the craziest shots fall, other times the simplest ones miss... aggravating. Also, I only play one defender on defense, because I'm not that great at it... sometimes my man scores because I do something boneheaded, but so many times the 'help defense' kills me and the CPU leaves a player wide-open.
