Hey A&S question. What is the idea behind these adjustments?

I really want to get rid of the 7 seconds offense of the CPU. I just see it way too often. But if I would higher both offense and defensive awareness wouldn't the effect be still 0? just curious to your opinion on this.

Also what does the defensive assist slider (in control settings) according to you? Maybe this could also help if you are switching a lot in defense?

I hear you I am seeing that 7 second thing happening more than I would like. I wish I knew which slider or sliders correlate that. The defensive assist setting helps the cpu handle more of the one on one if you play a lot of off ball defense. At least that is my take. I keep it very low as I play on ball defense 85-90% of the time.

Played a game with 2k rosters. Only thing that bothers me is the animations seem fast compared to pre patch. I lowered quickness to 40 and that helped some. Might need to lower game speed next.

Anyone use these with Nogsters rosters?

QN, did you know that lowering the game speed slider slows the clock down? anything lower than 50 on the game speed, makes the quarters longer.

In Association mode you would want to lower player speed. I have that set at 46.

All you need to do is in the pre game menu hit Triangle (PS3) and then set your player speed. That will slow the animations down to where you like them. Keep game speed at 50 as this will increase the quarter length as Fiddy pointed out.

No it's not.

When I do CPU vs. CPU, I set game speed to 100 to make the game progress faster. Game speed speeds up clock and gameplay.

no it doesnt.. it takes longer to run down an actual minute etc. test have been done to prove that game speed below 50 does indeed slow the game clock down.

love this set, my stats are coming really accurate to real life. You see your being pounded on the boards and you bring some extra guys in the paint to help out and you end up winning the boards in the second half....

ex: 1st half: cavs 17 reb, 44 points. celtics 26 reb, 54 points.
2nd half: cavs 36 reb, 58 points. celtics 22 reb 43 points

i brought everyone on the boards everytime to come back to win it!!!

has anyone bumped this up to all star? how is it working out?

also these sliders are very fun but the cpu shoots a low pct for me.. also having trouble getting user fouls. im wondering maybe bumping up might help these issues? these are definitely the most "fun" sim sliders ive yet to try.

I am playing through an 82 game season. Currently I am at he all-star break so probably in another 4-5 weeks my regular season will be complete.

Once it is I will post my team stats as well as player stats for The Miami Heat. I will also post those of all the playoff teams.

The stats are looking very good thus far but more importantly the game is playing fantastic. There are some things that I am trying to tweak and will post some updates in a few days.

Bumping up to All-Star is something I have not done but may try if I blow through the post season...all depends. I am getting a realistic season thus far.

I made some tweaks I will post them below and for those who have been using them I put in () how much up or down you need to add or deduct from the previous slider value on the first page.

For example if Pass Accuracy says 43 (-6) That mean move the slider down to 43 from 49.

So here are the tweaks and thank you rKenshin0922 for some great suggestions to arrive at these settings I changed.

Pass Accuracy - 43
Help defense Strength - 85
Dunk Ability - 35
Take Mid Range Shots - 50
Attempt Dunks - 35


Hope everyone is still getting great games out of these.
