anyways, i just finished a game, thunder(me) vs celtics, i won 102-71, i was up 40-17 at the end of 1, the celts had 44 going into the 4th quarter!

steals are a little high for me, 16 to 10, as are turnovers, 22 to 17. here are some other stas

    rebounds: 41 to 33
    assists: 29 to 17
    off rebounds: 9 to 5
    blocks:10 to 1
    3 pt: both 5-14
    FT: 13-17 to 6-14
    fouls:9 to 12

i just noticed somehow the stat sheet all players played 246 minutes :/

well, it was a real blowout, i doubt its normal since it was the celtics and all...btw, these were with 1.6

    Strange.

If you want to reduce TO's and steals lower the hands slider and up pass acc. That'll do it!

Now write me a 5 page essay on why these sliders suck. And it can't be:

" They suck. They suck. They suck. [...]"

    for 5 pages.

Use whatever you like. On Pro, with Real Player %, they are universal.

      Enjoy!

I seem to do good the first quarter but after that it's all over! tips? ideas?

Last night I was playing the Bulls as the Celtics and Bulls were up 26-25 after the 1st....at half it was 67-54 and the game closed at 121-95 bulls winning. I haven't scored more than 95, and have allowed over 100 points all 6 games so far...

If you consider the NBA shooting %'s by location on the court:

61% on dunks, layup & putbacks.

44% @ less than 10 ft., excluding dunks, layups and putbacks

          39% from 10-23 ft.

          35% from 3pt

you have to get inside to shoot 46% (the NBA avg).

NBA teams averaged 27 shots from inside last year.

Try to post guys up, drive to the hoop, get out and run on defensive rebounds. Basically, just get as close to the hoop as you can, as much as you can.

          That should do it.

Release does matter. Try to release the shot stick/button once the player is near the apex of the jump, at the apex of the jump or just after (a millisecond). Practice mode, w/ shot stick timing and shot feedback enabled, may help you.

I did Bull 96-97 against NY 94-95 and I did lot of fouls, everytime there's contact in the air or paint, there's free throw behind ...

Jordan has 5 fouls at the end...near to exclusion

How can I find the good balance ? i'll try to put the fouls sliders of user at

            95
            95

That's very strange. I've actually found 64 to be perfect, so far.

Let me know how it goes.

                  That's odd, Bulls.

                  I'm like 2-7. I guess you're better than me.

Sorry, man. I tried to make them universal. But, nothing ever is.

It's great if you want to mask flaws in the game or a slider set. Which, honestly, was why I had it on. But, the more I play with mine, I feel confident that it's unnecessary.

I don't think it's harmful in any way. So, ultimately, it's up to the user.

I prefer to believe that the outcome is decided on the court.
Interesting...Thanks for the input. I'm still on the fence but as with any good dish, at some point you just have to trust that the food should be eaten as the cook intended and stop covering it all in ketchup I will definitely give your final version a run once you are happy with everything (and I hope for the sake of your sanity that that day is soon!)

I also forgot to add in my previous post that I am really loving the throw-away TO's. They were frustrating at first, but this is the first time ever in a video game that I have had to be cognizant about who was throwing the pass, who was receiving the pass, and the position of the passer in relation to the receiver. It doesn't get any more real than that! On top of that, it also adds an additional wrinkle into building a team, providing yet another layer of depth to this game. Just awesome work by you and your team of helpers!

                        Thanks, Prof.

I really hate to throw around the M word, in general, but especially when it's something for which I am partially responsible. In fact, I never have. Because it comes off as arrogant, self-congratulatory and delusional.

But taking into consideration the level, my goal, what I promised, what the stats look like, what we had to work with, etc. these sliders are nearly a masterpiece. Mostly, because of the way the CPU performs on offense-- sometimes it's what I imagine it would be like to see Matisse paint-- and the success of the TO band-aid.

For those things I am quite proud. I'm just happy that one or two people see this, because I'm not interested in advertising.

                        I guess I just was.
