I don't necessarily mind this game specifically-- although there is a little bit of exposure when you live the game for a few months--, I just think my life is better spent doing other things. Like laundry.

But like an addict, I'm drawn back.

    We'll see.

This is part of the reason I'm seriously frustrated. I don't know. It seems like a slider set killer to me. And I think it's in the set, somehow.

I don't know what happened but my first game with 2.6 was a little bit nuts. The TO's were absolutely ridiculous. Teams average about 14 TO's per game. This was ludicrous. I played a fullcourt press because I was losing really badly and the Thunder couldn't even inbound the ball without it flying over the head of the PG. The CPU fg% isn't an issue now, but turnovers are ridiculous.

tenencies changed big time.....some others slightly......i think he changed those then changed to all star so the bold got put just for settings

                      pro = too easy

                      all star = insane lol

im thinking shooting sliders need to be lowered???

HIGH %, im averaging over 50%, CPU sometimes more.

I def prefer All star, but now to just find a balance.

Greenie, i know your burnt out so wanted to let ya know I and im sure everyone else greatly appreciate your brilliant work

It's not all that brilliant. Dim, maybe.

I moved to All-Star, played two games, and now there is no way I can play Pro again.

I hate to say it (because it's probably not true, I'm just wishing it so), but the AI is stupid on Pro.

I'm not sure about %'s, because teams often shoot 50% in a game. The key is to make sure the 35%-55% range is still possible from time to time.

I'll keep playing and let you know until you turn to us all and say ENOUGH haha!

                            Re: The Purist(s) NBA 2K11 Sliders (Post-Patch)

For instance, 6 of the 14 teams that played last night shot over 50%.

The real problem as I see it right now is that the set on AS is just ruthless. But I blame that partly on myself, on my Pro style of play. My defense could definitely use some work, as could my offense. I mean, you can't turn the ball over 20+ times and expect to compete. Now, there will have to be some balance between the ability to squeeze passes and the ability for those passes to get picked off.

The biggest question for me, is how much I can play at this point.

                            We'll see.

                            Numbers help.

yeah, the settings are brutal, I forgot to post stats but I went 2 wins 3 losses, the wins were by no less than 5 and 2 of the losses were blow out.

cpu just seem to knock it down consistently than me. Plus, defense is where it needs to most change I reckon.....hard to shut em down.....offensively user is a bit inconsistent, but not terrible by any means.

and yeah, the TO's is what kills it and makes the CPU brutal!

Since im on university holidays and work holidays......I'll be playing pretty much non stop haha, so ill be sure to post game stats!

Yeah, I agree. Both HUM/CPU defense needs some help.

To that end, I tweaked a little this morning. I'll post what I changed tonight.

                                2 wins! Lol. Nice work.

                                Thanks, man. I appreciate it.
