BTW: I might have to bring shooting success sliders back down. FG% is probably too high.

I just find it hard to believe that there is such a difference between the sliders on PRO and AS. But, I think they may just be more effective.

edit: made those changes. no need for a new number.

I'll vouch for these sliders. Just had the most amazing game I ever Played

        98 Bulls vs 98 Jazz

Getting adjusted to passing a few more turnovers

        66-50 At half.

Fight my way back to OT.

Take a 9-1 Run in the OT.

Stocton hits ending OT Tieing shot

        2nd OT
        Jazz take a run
        wtf
        I tie it up

        3rd OT
        I go on a run
        1:30 left up by 6
        Screw around for a bit

        23 seconds left
        Up by 1

        I get fouled

        Nail shots with Jordan

Jordan had like 65 points, 9 Ast, 13 rebounds, 5 steals
Score was like 142-139 or something.

          Cool, man.

You must have ice in your veins. I would have ate the controller after the 2nd OT.

            Re: The Purist(s) NBA 2K11 Sliders (Post-Patch)

            Hello Everyone,

I read a lot of these posts because I truly love(hate) the game. The other night, while playing my association with the Spurs and being trounced in another terrible "simulation" of NBA basketball against the 76ers scoring 16, 17, 19, 20 points in various quarters, I decided enough was enough and decided to change sliders. I changed them on my own and mostly increased mid range, 3Point, and general shot success, put the defense down, and tinkered with them in a manner very emblematic of these sliders. Then googled "game sliders" for NBA 2K11 and "the Purist" came up. I know the game is brilliant and all, but NBA teams score around a hundred points a game, NOT in the eighties. There will be the odd eighty-ninety game, but not every freakin game. Anyway good job on these sliders. I do have some suggestions and I'll post them the more games I play. I had a high scoring affair with the thunder, but I adjusted my sliders after Durant started 9/11 with 4 3's and Jeff Green was running around dunking on me, and I forgot to put the CPU's down as well. After I adjusted them I beat the Bulls 110-89 or thereabouts.

            Anyway, good sliders, good thread.

These are amazing. Just played the most realistic game of my life, other than the fact that I was using the Wolves and won.

now guys, what i'm about to say might kill my credibility but...

i strongly think that Human & CPU sliders should NOT... & I repeat, SHOULD NOT be the SAME!

reason why i say this is simply because as much as we(Humans) try to simulate pro ball & find the open man, make the right angle passes, have the right release with the shot stick(button), lock down on defense, extc... as much as we try, we(Humans) wont be as sharp,as quick, as timely, as n'sync as the CPU!

i hate to say all this more than anybody trust me... but i really do think the CPU sliders (only on certain sliders) should be different than the sliders for Humans.

this will be my next experiment!

*I do realize that I might be totally WRONG on this lol, but i have to test it.

just had a blowout win against Miami, great game.

thinking that if you roll with an average team you got no hope! I made a fantasy trade (would never happen in real life) and landed Chris Paul and Carmello Anthony for my Celtics. Anthony and Paul finished with 30 a piece haha.

loving it, now when Geebo uploads his latest with the nogster playbooks Dice has been working his butt off implementing I'll be set for good (check out Geebos threat for details)

Maybe on Off Rebound who are always more strong for cpu and maybe on block cause we're always more strong..but that all.

yeah agreed, blocking is probably the only 'easy' thing to do being the HUM player.....but it changes game to game so not a huge deal in my opinion

Why are all of the Fast Break numbers so low? I would raise them all 10 or so points. usually there is a team in the double digits, sometimes in the twenties, while the other team is in the low teens, but usually in the 4-9 range. I've noticed people's box scores being 12-7 and lower. What do you think?

Can someone teach how to change coach profiles without reverting? I'm applying these slider into my Association. What should I do in changing coach profile.? I need clear instruction.. thank you.

I've heard that this is more of a game issue and not a slider issue, as the game sometimes doesn't register fast break points as fast break points in the stats.
