it greatly improves the gameplay, definitely worth it, use nogsters on 360 or geebo's on ps3

Re: The Purist(s) NBA 2K11 Sliders (Post-Patch)
1st off been following this thread for a while, big ups to greenie and everyone else who helped put these sliders together. just wanted to know if you guys are setting run plays to 100 for every team or leaving it as is. Also i don't know if its just my luck but the cpu is hitting EVERYTHING, with guys in their face, double teamed, doesn't matter, any 1 else?Comment

I believe it's a matter of practice.
I left Run Plays at default settings.Comment

Re: The Purist(s) NBA 2K11 Sliders (Post-Patch)
I just made an average of my last 5 games (I need to input two more in my stat sheet) and I realized that CPU bench is killing me! Through 5 games (played with slider set 2.6, 2.7, 2.8, 3.0 and 3.0 respectively with coach profiles) the CPU bench is averaging 36 PPG against my 16 PPG. Wow, never realized it till now.Comment

Re: The Purist(s) NBA 2K11 Sliders (Post-Patch)
Got blow out by the Heat 116-96(or something like that). I was up 2-0. They went on a 15-0 after that. I played well after that cutting it to 4 with a mintue left in the first half, but King James got a jam and one to get me down by 7 at half. They killed be in the 3rd and were up by like 20 early in the 4th. I made a run to get to 12, but they went on a 8-0 to get backup by 20, then the rest was garbage time. Don't have stats to post, They shot like 50% from the field and 3. I was like 37% from the field and 23% from 3. I was 38-45 from the line and they were around 90% as well. Thats all i rememberComment

Damn, I'm 1-9 since I switched to All-Star... just lost at home against the NYK 123-94, and Stoudamire was not playing! They shoot 52 from the field, 58% from 3PT, 85% FT, grabbed 47 rebounds and the bench scored 72 points! C'mon... have I touched something I wasn't supposed to touch? Eh eh :-DComment

Try this Cesco.
Under defensive settings:
Set PG, SG, SF, PF on-ball defense to play tight (starters and bench). Set C to sag off.
Set SG, SF to play tight off-ball. Set PG, PF, C to sag off.
Set all doubles to never.
Make sure you are always watching the ball on D. Make sure you are providing help D, when necessary. Make sure your angles on D (off-ball) are in the passing lane.
See if it helps.Last edited by greenieblue; 01-12-2011, 04:02 PM.Originally posted by Fabian Avenarius Lloyd[...] a man of subtlety or refinement is almost always nothing but an idiot.Comment

Re: The Purist(s) NBA 2K11 Sliders (Post-Patch)
greenie, i love your sliders. They gives me the best game so far. But do you think since the cpu is always a little faster and a little stronger( forcefield effect) that lowereing the cpu's speed and strength by 5 will help out and create more of a fluent game. I like using the Heat , and i notice that if Lebron steals a ball and is on a break away he does not get seperation from the D. Even Shaq can keep up with him. In real life he is explosive from one end of the court to another. Also, the force field effect is preventing guys like lebron going one on one with smaller defenders. i have tried this out and i like the outcome. Its not unrealistic, it is more true to real basketball situations.
what do you think?Comment

Re: The Purist(s) NBA 2K11 Sliders (Post-Patch)
greenie waddup,
i just want to get your take on why'd u raise the close shot, 3PT, layup & dunk success sliders? *I personally, am a big fan of how they were in v3.0.
i made some of the other changes from v3.1 that looked like they made sense.. (Help Defense Strength, Hustle, Ball Handling, on Ball D, Off/Deff Awareness & Consistency) also did the change for Hands from 78 to 79 but not sure why u raised it cuz deflected passes were a strong point in v3.0.
i agree totally with lowering shooting foul frequency -1. maybe that will decrese those "shot clock running out, bail out fouls in the paint" lol.
**i know u make those changes for u and based on how u play and the rest of us shouldn't change that slider if it doesnt apply, but i'd really like to know some of ur logic in the changes of v3.0 to v3.1 my dude. holla back.Last edited by iameich; 01-12-2011, 05:40 PM."It's about damn time... Re: The Purist(s) NBA 2K11 Sliders (Post-Patch)
I'm sorry but these are some of the worst sliders I have played on. I have aleast 3-4 starters foul out before halftime and I end the game shooting 10% and they finsh 93%. I have 37 turnovers and they have 3 turnovers. If you can fix them then I will start using them again.Comment

Re: The Purist(s) NBA 2K11 Sliders (Post-Patch)
Thanks Greenie for your hints, I'll try them out.
In my last game I won!! 102-99 against Golden State. I won because I played on ball defense all game long, switching defenders. I got crazy but I won. This proves that my CPU teammates don't play tight D when left alone. Probably I have to apply what Greenie has told me in his last post.Comment
