Cesco how do you set your defensive settings?

      Thank you, Cesco.

I think I have figured something out: you and I don't go for on-ball steals (?). In turn, the plummeting CPU TO rate is hurting us more than anyone else posting. My CPU TO have been under 10 since shortly after the move to AS, as (it seems) are yours (?).

Last night, it felt like I may have isolated the reason for the drop in CPU TO. But I need to run more tests.

      It's encouraging news, I think.

Thanks again. I really appreciate you getting through a game (trust me, I know it isn't as simple as it sounds :wink.

BTW: I'm not saying that's the only thing going on. But it was the most confusing part, to me.

I am now 12-11 tied for 6th in a tight east(only 1.5 behind the Heat) Got the Nets at home next then I go to play the Heat. I think Im going to need to get a better 2nd option for Wall as Blatche is too inconsitant to be a 2nd option. Ideally this person will be a SF with a nice stroke, any suggestions?

        How about Tayshaun?

Thanks for posting, as always Ewing.

I've entered them in the machine.

            Re: The Purist(s) NBA 2K11 Sliders (Post-Patch)

I'm at 10 games with these sliders now and the statlines are generally very good, very plausible.

My only concern right now is passing. I would put some of my turnovers on bad pass selection by me but there are also some passes which are just wayyyy too bad.
For example when my opponents scored, I want to inbound the ball, the passer and the receiver look directly at each other, and what happens ? The passer throws it *way* over the receiver's head. Thats just ridiculous. Maybe it was because of some opposing player standing somewhat closely nearby, but still, the passing lane was clearly open and it should have been a simple pass, but no - total embarassment instead.

Roy 12 points 4 broads 4 assists (left in 2nd quarter with injury)

Nothing was changed from the Purist slider or difficulty. Coach profile was used. It was a fun game overall. I was down by 9 early in the first but came back in the second to take the lead. Roy got injured late in the second quarter and batum took over the load. Led all of second half with the sixers coming close to 1 in the fourth but Blazers kept the lead and never look back. Some complain could be the in-bound pass glitch in which the guy is 2 feet from the passer and the pass going across the other side. Sometimes, animation can be a little unrealistic, esp with speedy Holiday dribbling all over the place. Great slider overall.

                Meeks 17 points 2 broads 3 steals 3/10 3pts
                Iguodala 16 points 8 broads 6 assists 5 TOs
                Holiday 11 points 4 broads 5 assists 4 steals 4 TOs

                Aldridge 26 points 13 broads 3 assists
                Batum 15 points 9 broads 1 assist
                Rudy 13 points 5 broads 3 assists

                Thank you, ninja!

                19 to go.

I was wrong. We might have to go for on-ball steals, Ces. Give it a try next time.

Hey Greenie, here are the total assists from the stats of the 3 games I posted yesterday:

                    Suns 18

                    Celtics (me) 15
                    Mavs 27

What happens if we play these on Pro? Obviously it'd be easier but I think I just suck too much for all star

this was originally all about pro......but we got sick of the unrealistic stats, the dumb cpu AI and it was too easy....that's why Greenie and the rest of us moved it up to All Star.....now it's all about finding the right balane, Greenie is really close, the rest is up to us to play well and win for our own experience......HOF is my next test with these, people keep saying that it's the same challenge as All Star but without the harsh CPU game logic.....they could also just be talking crap lol

So quick question on real player shooting %...

for regular shots, it doesnt matter how i press square? It's just based off the guy's shooting %?

                          and for FTs, same thing?

How is this fun?/take any strategy?

Even if you setup a play and a guy is wide open and you time everything right on the shot, he'll miss because of his shooting %?

man, this was my first All Star game where I realllly noticed the BS all star logic.....I would get say, an 11 point lead, then just go ice cold until Denver took the lead off me and so on.....and then I just lost the handle on D by the 3rd and the 4th id given up lol....

I'm going to try a HOF game later to see if it's the same deal.....obviously this is a game issue, not a slider issue....hope they take notice and fix it for 2k12.....

                              EDIT: also, in the 3rd i scored 13 to there 33 :O

I've tried one half game with superstar level, it was crazy and totally unreal

so cameback back in pro, too easy and finaly stay in All Star.

If what you say about HOF is true, it's can be good tro try...
