    Seriously turning offensive and defensive awareness to 0 changes rebounding completely, and the CPU actually still plays smart.

      Didn't do anything for me in a couple of games.

      Weird thing: with off/def rebounding at 100/0 for me and 90/0 for the AI, the AI consistently gets around 10 off.reb/game whereas I am lucky to get more than 5, still.

      I've noticed that often very good (offensive) rebounders like Oden or Camby don't get the ball when they jump up in the middle of the pack directly under the basket. They should get it at least sometimes. It seems to work for the AI in similar situations with similar players, though.
      So, maybe its something with the overall difficulty ? I am playing All-Star. Maybe anything above Pro is given the user controlled team that much of a rebounding disadvantage that the sliders are not able to make up for that.

        So the awareness thing must have to do with my other spiders as well. I use makeufamous spiders which have most tendencies at 0. That being said with his he has awareness all at 100 and rebounding is no good

          I didn't like awareness all to 0 because players don't react very nicely anymore, then.
          Yes, at first there is not much of a noticable difference but over the course of a game I found that my players where annoyingly late to react to situations, like helping against driving opponents by closing the lane.

          That being said, with awareness of off/def at 60/50 I just had a game where both teams grabbed 15 offensive boards. Felt really good

            offensive rebounding at 100 and defensive rebounding at 95 works great for me..

              ive tried almost every slider adjustment but it doesnt seem to work for me. My big men fail to go for offensive rebounds(too lazy i guess;p). Im averaging 6-7 per game (and not 15 that real nba average).

              I think that offensive rebounds are 1 serious(if not the the biggest) bug of this game, which i hope they will fix it in nba2k12 ;>

                  5-6 ? LOL

                  Ofc i can grab 6 or 7 offensive rebounds max myself as well. However, that number is FAR AWAY from the realistic NBA number of 10-12 per game.
                  Offensive rebounds are BUGGED end of story ;>
