That play is called 53 ice and the only way I found to help it was under coaching profiles. Put all the teams help defense between 85-100. Try not to mess with the sliders , the coaching profiles for defense should do the trick

Hey red do u know how to make the defence help out after the roll happens on the pick and roll. I was wondering if it was defensive awareness or help defence cause i was playing my fav play for carmelo the one where u press square ( i think its 53 roll ) . And i have the point where kg stops carmelo but no one stops at jeffrey (PF) cutting to the hole for an easy bucket. I changed the defensive help defence slider to 60 for the cpu then and it played better as they start to help when jeffrey catches the ball, but i want to know how to make the cpu stop jeffrey be4 he catches the ball so i dont pass to him because someones there already.

I just don't run that play often because it seems to be a bit of an exploit. You may need to experiment with Defensive Awareness to see what works best. Defensive Pressure on the coaches sliders adjust how fast the players move on the defensive end. There is another thread all about coaching sliders that explains each one. Pretty good read.

lol yeah. zzz first Carmelo was critisized for taking that last shot which missed, then he was critisized for not taking the last shot and instead passed it to jeffreys but i thought it was a good play and Damn jeffreys should of just shot it.

I have never changed that, so whatever the default is, that's what I'm set at.

I was thinking about raising help defense for the CPU, reason being I'd like to see the defense collapse when my PG or wing player penetrate the lane. That way you can do more drive and kicks...what do you think?

Yeah i've already done that, i raised the cpu's to 60 like the users help defence, and probaly should have raised the dunk ability to 37 but when that happens i get my dunk blocked alot lol. because with the dunk ability too high, the C comes to help and then my Carmelo just dunks on him lol.

Yea, I may make that change next time I play a game. As far as attributes go like dunk ability, vertical etc...I'm not changing any of em for fear of changing the way the game "feels" like the motion and animation.

Redlogic i found that cpu setings on inside shot succes should be 44, close shot success shoil be 45, mid range shot success should be 45 and 3PT success should be 47. Reason, open shot at least cpu can nail the shot, sometimes still miss too...

Give it a try and you will see the difference.

I think that all the shot settings really come down to personal preference. I like the settings I have but again...just personal preference.

Ah these sliders are beyond great man. **** i know the knicks arent a great defence team because of Mike which fustrates me on defence cause their fg is around 50% sometimes haha. But theres quarters wher i play really great defence which is great, btw hows your association going Red, hows the defence using the knicks bro?

I think right now I'm 7 and 7, still working my rookies into the offense. I traded for Larry Sanders but had to give away one of my prize rookie possessions. I am desperately trying to get better on D as I signed Camby to a one yr deal in the off season. I have quarters where I lock down the CPU and quarters were I struggle (just like the real Knicks!). It's funny cause thats exactly how the Knicks were this year, one qtr they looked like world beaters the next they couldn't stop a high school team. The sliders are playing like a dream, I only hope that in 2k12 I can repeat the process.

I don't know. Why don't u just play on HOF? Trust me, these play very well and you will be surprised at how well u do. Yes, I use SST for FT's.

LOL fck... i just found out i had my shooting slider set for the cpu entered wrong, haha my inside was 44, my close and mid range at 45, atleast my 3 was right. no wonder defence was a struggle.

man....im sorry but i hate your sliders...for me the game play is totally unrealistic....mike bibby is not lebron james and the heats center is not 19 again....too arcade-ish
