Jimmer Fredette/Udrih
Evans/Travis Leslie
Thaddeus Young/Casspi
Odom/Dorsey
Cousins/DeAndre/Jordan
I have started the year 5-1 with my last 2 wins being blowouts playing on All Star difficulty. I'm ready for a tougher challenge so I will be trying out your HOF sliders in my next game. I'll let you know how it goes.Comment

Re: RedLogic's HOF Slider set - Shot Stick Timing FG & FT's
I just wanted to give you a huge thank you from myself and a few friends. We all play this game and talk about our associations etc. I had been trying other slider sets that were either pro or all star level, with one superstar set. Just wasn't finding anything that I'd consistently get whooped up on. I had been hesitant to try any HOF because of games like Madden, where we all know that All-Madden = Magic comebacks, lineman that can outrun Chris Johnson, etc. But I must say, this is an absurdly realistic set.
I played three quick games with them, won 2 and lost 1. But all 3 were very competitive throughout. I made a new association and my first game I went up against the Grizzlies, I went up 38-23 after 1. Because of my previous sliders, I was like well, there, I'm 1-0 this season. But uhh, in the 2nd quarter they outscored me 24-8 (never been stopped like that defensively, they completely screwed me up and took me out of my game, which was frickin' incredible and realistic). It never felt cheesy or whatever, I scored the first 5 points of the 2nd quarter, and scored 3 over the next 8:30 of the game. For those of you who watch basketball regularly or at least read the recaps on espn or nba.com you'll see all the time "The Celtics went the final 5:42 without a field goal" or something to that effect.
So thank you for the amazing sliders. I did end up winning the game against the Grizzlies, but only in the last 2 minutes. It was 83-83 with about 1:52 to go and I was able to hit a couple of big shots and win it 91-85. But in the process of that game, I got re-addicted to it, so I thank you for that, much appreciated sir.Comment

After reading through alot of this thread, I'm starting to feel these sliders fit me more than Armor and Swords. Curious to hear if anyone has tried both, and the pros and cons of each.Follow me on Twitter@DrewGarrisonSBNComment

Re: RedLogic's HOF Slider set - Shot Stick Timing FG & FT's
These sliders are great!!!!!! I also started a Knicks association and I'm currently 2-0 I blew out both the Raptors and the Celtics. The only problem i have is with free throw shooting, because in my last game i literally went to the line 46 times which I think is tad bit too high. My points per game is about over 110 which is high too but then again its the Knicks which are one of the top high scoring teams in the NBA. I am also allowing about 100 points per game as well, I guess I need to play better defense. Overall, these sliders are perfect great job on these.Comment

Re: RedLogic's HOF Slider set - Shot Stick Timing FG & FT's
Thank you for responding Logic. I appreciate the kind words in your response. I love this game, I've been playing since NBA 2k on Dreamcast. While I haven't loved all of them, for the most part I play them all year. NBA 2k11 is far and away my favorite game of all time, let alone sports game. Not to mention, it comes out every year on or around my Birthday, so that makes it even better.
All that being said, as much as I love the game. Due to the fact I've been playing this for a decade, and played basketball up through college, I can dissect each installment very quickly and cease to lose the rest of the way. But this years installment is a complete monster of a game and I could never fathom getting rid of it or going anymore than a week without playing it. Even though I was winning a bit too easily, I still played regularly. Your sliders though, man, the game is so much fun again I'd actually forgotten how much I truly loved it when all the gears were turning. Personally, I'd rather lose than win in a blowout. You get incredibly detached from the game when you go up by even 15, because more often than not, the CPU isn't coming back. But with your sliders, you absolutely have to pay attention the entire game. I found that out the hard way a few different times.
Much like you said, "I feel like I can win if I play smart, which isn't always easy". If the CPU starts hot and throws you off your game, or in my case, holds you to 8 points in the 2nd quarter while storming back from a double digit lead. If you ditch your gameplan and start getting desperate. They will absolutely smoke you and make you pay for mistakes. One of the other things I love is that you actually need to make coaching adjustments. It seems as though the CPU takes advantage of human strategies. For instance, I had crash boards up to 95 because I was using a great rebounding team. So the CPU went small and started going into fast breaks every miss. The first quarter and a half, they didn't do that. They had their normal starting lineup in there and up until the adjustment, had 0 fast break points. So they went small, upped the fast break, and scored 16 fast break points by halftime. It was incredible and I'd yet to see them make drastic adjustments until I used your sliders.
So again, I thank you, and if there's anything you need from me. Whether it's detailed stats, box scores, someone to try out potential slider tweaks, or any feedback. By all means, please let me know and I would be happy to help. You've taken my favorite game of all time and made it better, so it's the least I can do for you.Comment

There is one thing I thought you may be able to help with since you such an experienced 2k player (I too have been playing since the Dreamcast days and honestly 2k2 was AMAZING!!)...after you play a few more games, I still struggle with getting a good amount of fast break points against the CPU. Now I know there a few factors and occasional the CPU will not count fast break points towards your stats even though they should. I was wondering if you notice a lack of fast break points for yourself or if this is just a symptom of my play style and the team I use. Thanks for your input, the above response was very thorough and appreciated.Comment

Re: RedLogic's HOF Slider set - Shot Stick Timing FG & FT's
I've been debating sliders to use for a while and have had my eye on these for some time, this post more or less has convinced me to give these a few runs, especially since I'm only in pre-season of my 2nd year in association. Can't wait to get home and try these and then tweak Sword and Armors around the all-star difficulty!Comment

Re: RedLogic's HOF Slider set - Shot Stick Timing FG & FT's
Perfect sliders. Absolutely dynamite. Played two more games in my pre-season, ironically both against the Spurs. Lost both games as I tune myself to these sliders, but they were great games that were extremely competitive and I had a chance to win both. Mental mistakes in the final stretch. Generally the Spurs would consistently stay ahead, but I'd dominate both ends in stretches and create a good deal of success. I'd pull to within 2-3 points, or even tie it up, only to have the Spurs put together a few critical buckets.
Their defense gave me different looks when I'd try to initiate my offense through John Walls. Sometimes throwing a double team, other times just shooting the screen hard. Jumpers that I normally hit just weren't falling for me, and the Spurs had just enough offense to keep them from crumbling. It was intense.
Really like these sliders alot, not even going to bother tweaking with A/S's sliders to all-star. Going to run with these sliders for a while. It's pretty amazing how much of a difference these sliders have made, and I can't wait to get deeper into this season and hit the playoffs. Going to be SUPER competitive.Follow me on Twitter@DrewGarrisonSBNComment

Welcome to the team drewski. Glad you enjoyed the sliders set. I never imagined in a million years that these sliders would be so popular with everyone. I'm glad that is the case however.Comment

Re: RedLogic's HOF Slider set - Shot Stick Timing FG & FT's
Ha, thanks, it's nice to find the team so to speak. After running wild through the league in my first association year I knew it was time to change the game, no reason to play the game if you're blowing teams out. Not a great deal of fun.
Nailing a crucial bank shot from 16 feet out coming off a screen to tie it up in the 4th? That's what I'm talking about. I was already addicted, this is not good news for my 360 controller =pFollow me on Twitter@DrewGarrisonSBNComment
