These sliders are great, and have given me the most double clutch layups. I love to see those, so does anyone know why this might be the case? Celg I think you may have touched on this in your last post when you talked about the consequences of having certain sliders at 0?

Celg has a great understanding of the sliders but I always felt like 50 is the default for a reason. If you set a slider to 0 what you are doing causing a negative impact on that slider/ability. Some people think if you set something to 0 you are letting the players natural ability take over, I feel like setting it at 0 is having a negative impact on the players ability. If you want the players ability to remain what it's set up as, you leave the slider at 50. I don't know if I explained it well enough.

i think so . i believe certain animations have to be triggered by a certain value.
and another theory that i'm going toward is that players have thier own attributes. i believe that the sliders work on a percentage based on the players attributes. for instance if lebrons 3pt shooting is 73 and James Jones is 85. and let's say the slider for 3pt is 50 . this means that when a player shoots , he will have a 50 % chance of falling in that number. if we raise the slider to 55 then the player will have a 55% of triggering a 3pt shooting rating of 73 or 85. thats why on fast breaks under coaching profile. If you put it at 100 as the attribute and you put hustle at 100 on the slider side , you are now saying that i would like every fast break to move up the court as quickly as possible 100 percent of the time. I we apply this to another slider like commit fouls we now take the players attributes for that and say that we would like them to commit fouls 100% of the time based on thier attributes.

i believe it's the same concept that is used in Madden sliders.

I like the buzz around these sliders, as far as eliminating unlimited dunks. I'll tryt them later. I really need to find some sliders that eliminate the rinse and repeat formula of: iso, xover, monster dunk. I hope to god these make the game challenging again

Also does having cpu.hum sliders at different values mess up simmed games. I'm stuggling right now to find sliders that work well for sim and played games. i.e. having cpu hustle @0 but hum hustle @ 100. Seems like it'd mess up cpu rythm when simming.

To be honest, that is a pretty new change to the sliders. If it does impact the results for cpu vs. cpu then just leave the CPU hustle at 35.

Should Not mess up simmed games. That is usually CPU vs CPU , at least that is what I thought.

I think he meant, in an Association, the games you decide to sim and not play yourself. Worried about stats for those games and games that other cpu controlled teams play.

Whatever the default is, I believe ON.
