i actually lowered all shooting attributes to 47 for both, but left the 3's and mid range at default 50 as well.

his default shooting sliders was resulting in 60 to 68 FG% all the time for me. so i just adjusted to my liking, bc i like how the game flows with his other settings..
Thanks, I wasn't sure what I need to do but that driving contact shot frequency really helps. I too have lowered the shooting to 47s, but i put 3's and mid range at 49/48 (still tinkering). Also, I've raised user passing a bit because I feel like I'm seeing too many open passes that go flying into the stands.

I also have raised all the foul ratings, but still am not happy with them. Also, I think the fatigue may be just a little to much.

I love how the game moves with these sliders though, so I'm going to keep using these for now.

How do you get downloaded sliders to run in your Association?

I love the sliders. What about fatigue? The players don't get tired. I know, AI calls timeout and subs a lot, but I don't think my guys have gotten below 90 in a game. I'm playing 12 minutes.

My first two games I played (I'm Phoenix), I was 23 of 29 from 3 point range against the Thunder in which I won. My guys if they were open, hit almost every three. I couldn't believe it. The next game against the Lakers, I was 13 for 29. A bit more realistic, but I may drop the 3 point slider down some.

                  Overall, great sliders.

yeah, the mid range and 3 point sliders MUST be moved down to 50 or below.

i cant believe Tomba hasnt responded to you guys yet in adding the final set to the first post.

im gonna load up and copy them here for you guys.. i know i mentioned i "may" do it before, but since he obviously has no interest in doing so i will. gimmie a bit..

here you guys go.. quick note, as for the shooting sliders, im pretty sure he had them all default 50, except mid range and 3's for human, which were at 55.. 3's may have been at 60, cant remember. but, if you play with his default shooting sliders teams will be shooting high 60% low 70%.. so, adjust those down as you see fit.

also, bump up Driving Contact Shot Frequency, from 0's to about 25 for both user and cpu.

the fouls as well, you wont see many, so i use my own foul sliders combined with his set. i even have the tendency's adjusted as well!! but i like how the rest plays out for some reason, solid flow..

oh, and you may need to bump up pass accuracy from 44 to say 47 for both.. just depends on how careful you are with passing. 44 is fine for me, but may not for others..

                        Re: ***TOMBA NBA2K12 SLIDER SETTINGS***

So far i love these sliders, coupled with the sim roster designed to go with these. I've only made a few tweaks.

first, i lowered all shooting attributes to 47, except mid range/3pt which are 50 each.

Second, i lowered User Steal Success to 30, and steal attribute to 49... idk why but i was getting waaay more steals than i prolly should with guys like Ricky Rubio or Steve Nash.

Third, I raised Pass for both User/CPU to 48... I was having huge issues with my players throwing the ball away on the most basic of passes. This cuts that down enough to be manageable.

Fourth, I raised Driving shot contact frequency for both User/CPU to 25. This seems to make it a little harder to finish inside... Guys arent just getting wide open layups with no contest anymore.

Lastly, I upped User Reaching Foul frequency from 0 to 10, this was changed because i went through a few games, and i dont think i got one foul called. I don't attempt steals much, but i think there should be some kind of risk involved aside getting beat off the dribble.

*There is one more thing i'm thinking about changing, and thats Help Defense Strength... I want to get some feedback as to whether or not anyone else feels defensive rotations are too slow/ or in some cases non-existant when the user drives to the basket agains the computer, and vice versa. I'm thinking of putting these at 25 apiece. any thoughts?

PS thank you so much to Tomba and the rest of the team that put these sliders and rosters together.. you make playing NBA2k so much more enjoyable, and if it wasn't for you guys i would never get the balance i want out of this game.

                            *Played on 12-min quarters*

For the record.. I pretty much play like the 76ers (i.e. always looking for the fast break, etc.)

Admittedly, I took WAAY too many 3 pt'rs in this game, so I'll probably curb that in the future. All in all, I liked the feel with the sliders. No glaring issues, IMO.. nice work again, Tomba.

I'm gonna try playing against a mid-tier team like Atlanta or Denver or something like that then play against one of the super powers (i.e. Lakers/Celtics/Heat/Knicks/Thunder, etc.)

also, bump up Driving Contact Shot Frequency, from 0's to about 25 for both user and cpu.

the fouls as well, you wont see many, so i use my own foul sliders combined with his set. i even have the tendency's adjusted as well!! but i like how the rest plays out for some reason, solid flow..

oh, and you may need to bump up pass accuracy from 44 to say 47 for both.. just depends on how careful you are with passing. 44 is fine for me, but may not for others..

                              Thank you!

first, i lowered all shooting attributes to 47, except mid range/3pt which are 50 each.

Im right with ya on the help D it seems like every matchup is one on one.
