redlogic these are awesome although there is just the the cpu doesnt seem to be taking too many three point shots now maybe thats due to me having all the run play sliders set to 1. i was wondering what changes i should make to the sliders if i wanna lower it down to superstar because hall of fame does seem a bit overpowered scripted almost other than that all the stats im getting are just about spot on i thought the rebounding and shot blocking were fantastic.

I'm currently playing the game on superstar so ill let you know. I raised a couple of the defensive release sliders to 75 (for jumpshot release and layup) and raised the human sliders for shooting. So far I'm loving the gameplay. Using the Knicks vs Grizz and its a battle!

Yes I think so...played one a game so far with my knicks franchise. I lost 116-115 to the Grizz. I scored 31pts 8 reb with melo. 23pts 3 rebs 5 assists with JR and 20 and 7 with Felton. It was a great game which saw Melo with an open fadeaway to shot to win...alass I didn't. It was a great game and with the latest adjustments its played well. Obvisouly need to play a few more games but I loved the way it played.

Too much attacking the basket and time of possession is shot on HOF. I feel forced to control tempo to keep scores legit. SS the teams feel more life like. Just hard finding a set that favors cpu to keep it challenging.

Yea I think overall SS produces much better gameplay. With a few tweaks this set should keep its quality gameplay without losing any of the challenge. I've played two games so far on SS using knicks. Lost to Grizz by 1 and beat Hornets by 18. Both games felt great and true to life.

Excited on this! Ill try it out tonight a good timing as i stopped playing last night as cpu is getting cheesy and felt cheated. Cpu- all shots going in, me-bricks even open layups!

Thanks for this. Superstar difficulty works well right? 8-9 minutes can also be set instead?

Then ill think of a new team to use

Yea Superstar works pretty damb good. I'm 2-1 but beat the Wiz and Hornets. Not examples of great teams but I've seen some amazing animations. I wanna get a few more games in before making offocial any changes.

Yea except I upped the release defense on both layup and jumpshot to 75 for human...and of course adjusting thr shooting sliders as I go. So far so good. Cpu may need an adjustment to make it more cappable on D. Would you mind trying it out, see how the Cpu is on SS?

My defense strength is lower than yours but i found success for user mid and 3 at 46. I dont think every defender should be able to ruin a shot. If its too high i feel like everyone is the same on d. Maybe you could look at having differences between user and cpu.

Also i will try your whole set out next game. I was tinkering with things. I found lowering human consistency and increase cpu's will change % due to "runs". I use the knicks also and its too easy to post a high team fg% when all your shooters get hot at least once a game.

Consistency for me is the way to find that medium since sometimes between say 46 and 47 mid is the difference between constantly hitting or always missing. Hope that sounds right.

Consistency is probably one of the most important sliders to get right. Very underrated in the way it affects games.

The cpu definitely needs adjusting on the offensive side of the ball. I'm currently thumping Denver 35-17 in 1st qtr. They are shooting 27%. Obviously it'll go up and maybe I just played that good of defense...still need more testing. I have cpu consistency on 40. May raise it a few notches to 42-43 depending on flow of the game.

You didn't miss anything official. I'm playing/testing as we speak. I've done a few adjustments that I can post if you want...I've only played 4 games on my current sliders so I'm not sure how they hold up over long run.
