Also... On change of possession to begin Quarter or Half should count as Turnover. It does not.

Re: Official CPU vs CPU sliders!!!
Due to a lack of responses I was forced to look up some old threads from previous years to see if I could figure out what to do. I tried these adjustments and am very happy with the results.
Pass Accuracy - 45
Ball Handling - 25
Hands - 20
Stealing - 55
Blocking - 55
Fouls maxed out.
I'm now seeing passes thrown out of bounds, defenders playing good defenses and stealing the ball, passes deflected, etc. I'm getting about 15-20 turnovers per game. It varies from game to game as well. One game I had 19, another I only saw 10. Same for blocks and steals. Some games I see as many as 8 blocks, others I've seen only a couple. I don't like upping the game speed to 50 because the scores are too high.
Try it and let me know if I'm on to something here.Last edited by Braves Fan; 02-16-2013, 09:43 PM.Comment

Re: Official CPU vs CPU sliders!!!
20 turnovers per game each team??? Actually buddy you should be getting about 14 turnovers per game according to my research. But ya I see your point, 2K makes it tough to create situations where there are enough turnovers.Comment

Re: Official CPU vs CPU sliders!!!
Sorry Braves Fan; Yeah those might be the right adjustments.
I sent you a personal message.
I might go with those.. thing I was trying to avoid was "Chasing" sliders.
Seems to me that there should be ONE correct setting for the game to play itself. And that applies to any sports game ever.
Now, 2K comes pretty darn close on default as opposed to the wide range of slider sets out there. Which BTW as I've said before left something to be desired.
That being said, IF your adjustments work without altering the game elsewhere, then you may have perfected what 2K set out to do.
But it also means that 2K was off somewhere in their research or testing.
Right now, I'm still playtesting. I'm still trying to get my football season up to Halloween, playing all games in NCAA as well as Madden in real time.
Looking forward to testing your adjustments. If it works, you just completed the Full Monte.
I want to point out that NONE of these sliders are MY Sliders. I was merely stating that 2K had done a fairly good job before any of us stated tinkering.Comment

Re: Official CPU vs CPU sliders!!!
It looked to me like you might see anywhere from 5-17 actual turnovers IRL per team.
Going Default, I'm getting 5-7. Sometimes a few more ,sometimes less.
And again, I point out that when one team gets the final shot in a qtr, and then gets first possesion to begin the next qtr, thats a turnover! But it doesnt get counted.
My thinking is that Team Turnovers don't get counted. I might be wrong. But thats the way it looks to me.
20 was probably an exaggeration.Comment

Re: Official CPU vs CPU sliders!!!
Last game (Coach Mode)
I won 106-102 in game 1 of the Western Conference playoffs.
Blocks
Thunder 7 Nuggets 6
Turnovers
Thunder 11 Nuggets 12
Steals
Thunder 11 Nuggets 7
One thing I have noticed is the same team wins every game pretty much on pro level, at least in my franchise. There isn't a lot of variety. I was getting bored with CPU vs CPU anyway so I've moved on to coach mode and I'm trying it on superstar difficulty. I won the first game and am losing the 2nd game right now 46-31 in the 2nd quarter.
Main thing I want is variety and a challenge, I don't want to get bored. I know the Thunder are a great team but I shouldn't be winning every single game I play.Comment
