There is zero chance the Heat win the rivals clash. There are so many 12 year olds on psn, xbox live,etc with names like XxXAIRJORDANMFERXxX that never watched Jordan play. I was lucky enough to watch both Jordan and Lebron in their prime. Jordan's legacy will always be so much stronger due to the name recognition from the Jumpman brand.


I really dont want to start a Jordan vs Lebron debate. they are both great, i think we can all agree on that.

What's the point in picking teams in Rivals if there are no extra prizes to the winners? The conspiracy theorist in me thinks the outcome is predetermined already just like in season mode and they have the Bulls prizes waiting. Do they really log in millions of wins? The most hardcore players are in this forum and are we really to believe the super grinders here barely make a dent in the total win column? This app doesnt even sniff the top charts on the app store, are there really millions of grinders who would play 8+ hours a day? highly doubt it

Im in a pickle. I doubt i can get into the rank for two epic pros, but I could maybe manage one epic. Bad thing is that if the bulls win, I will get an epic PF. I already have the two best epic PS (LJ/Blake) so that card would be useless to me. I guess i either pick heat or try to get an epic pro rodman.

Wow... I must have really lost my fire for this game LOL. After not playing in about 2 days, I opened it up tonight to look at the Rival countdown and thought I would play a few QGs to kill some time. About 10 games in, I pull a Moses Malone, my third Legendary drafted. A month ago I would have been running through every room of my house like a manic, yelling "I GOT ANOTHER ONE... I GOT ANOTHER ONE!!!!". Instead, I was just kind of, "huh... he's pretty good."

Then, about 20 games later, I pull an Epic; I should have been jumping up and down celebrating my string of good luck, but this pull actually p***ed me off since it was my THIRD Rudy Gay (all drafted). Here I am with 27 other Epics waiting for a twin, and I have now drafted this guy 3 times!!!

Now it just feels like I play for the next card and not for the cards I actually pull; I just get one, file it away, and start the pick count for the next one all over again. Is this how heroin addicts feel all the time, when they're chasing that dragon LOL Trying so hard to get that "first Legendary pull" feeling again LOL

I'm not at all calling it quits, but def starting to lose that thrill I once had. Pretty sad about that though, hopefully something new comes around and sucks me back in LOL

After a little 2100 pick drought snagged a David Lee epic. It doesn't give me a dupe or a chance that he'll ever play but it's better than pulling another rare tonight.

When you think about it, 8 million wins really isn't that much. If 10K people played, that's only 800 wins each; and with 6 days, that's only like 133 per person a day. That would only equate to a few hours of play a day for each person.

When you think about it, 8 million wins really isn't that much. If 10K people played, that's only 800 wins each; and with 6 days, that's only like 133 per person a day. That would only equate to a few hours of play a day for each person.

All exactly true.

THEN... consider that there were 4500 players that got at least a single Epic Duncan, and whole levels of Rare prizes below that. So 10k is probably conservative.

Then... consider that even with a Hot Streak in +5 every game, 20k points would take 2000 games, and more than a few people flew past that total.

I have no reason to question those numbers.

And the cards are all shown as finished products in the Rewards section. They already go through the hassle of making the cards for each side... why not let the fans decide which ones they activate? It's as simple as changing a couple lines of code to activate one or the other, and could easily be programmed in.
