But this was my WHOLE point when the packs were first released. They would've still made nearly the exact same profits if it was just epic cards only. The same people who bought packs, would have spent the same money trying to get an advantage by getting a bunch of the best epic pro cards, and it'd be completely understandable from a business standpoint while still keeping game competitive and balanced.
That way, people could buy an advantage but couldn't buy the BEST cards possible. We would see a lot of epics still but we can win those in season also, and both casual and hardcore players would all still be chasing the absolute best cards (legendaries) by actually playing the game.
The way it is right now, even the hardcore or richest players will just get bored and stop playing by buying legendaries. There is nothing left to chase, and the balance will be so destroyed in a month that people will abandon the game completely. ALL they had to do was have epic only packs, and it would've been the same profits for them and kept a long-lived game.
To any devs who ever read this thread; again the best solution is to take out legendary cards from packs ASAP. The game is still salvageable because even now it's not like every player is flooded with legendaries. But with each passing day the balance will get worse and worse. Keep legendaries highly valuable and hard to obtain, the day it becomes commonplace then even this thread will die.
