My 3rd Rivals clash review
Going into the event Classic Bulls vs Modern day Heat looked to be a good match-up on paper. You have the team we can reminisce and look back on the 'good old' teams of last era and the current day powerhouse of the heat that you wither love or hate.
In the end it was a blow out with the Bulls winning easily.
In the end I finished up with 8338 points. Last event I ended up with 15,073 and sold my soul to cat daddy games for that rivals duncan card, with university and basketball starting up again before this event I wasn't able to grind for that MJ. Congratulations to everyone that got one though, it looks to be a beast (especially Twista's pro'd version... :O)
I had an extremely lucky 3 hours during the event. I was experiencing a 6kish epic drought, I then drafted 3 epics in the space of probably 400 picks. They can be seen below:
All in all during the event I won a total of 1488 games and probably lost 20. I played no more than I usually would, didn't spend a cent and luckily got 3 epics and a legend out of it.

Unfortunately none of the epics I drafted were duplicates so that elusive epic pro still avoids me. Although I now have 11 epics so I a duplicate is surely just around the corner.
My post event season line-up is posted below. It has been improved vastly due to rivals events (Rivals Timmy and legend pippen) however I still remain highly uncompetitive in my current season as the top 2 players both have stats in the 4000's.
Congratulations to everyone and lets hope the next rivals event is a good one with (hopefully) a shorter time frame so we don't get burnt out again.Comment

oh man...... That Epic pro Rodman is now just a regular Epic Rodman just with a crown..
Next time don't be lazy and just combine right away please fully train all players to Max capacity before combining to get the Max results..

First legendary card and I'm happy that I did it correctly! With my score now, I would have gotten a rivals timmy on the 2nd rivals event. Now I know I can do it, I will always go for either a rival or legendary in the coming events. Congrats to everyone, especially those that got what they were aiming for

Hey Ezquerro, G2Zone here! I'm done as well. No hot streaks either. I stopped 25 points short of you and am taking the final hour off (in protest that they made it an hour longer this time)
Looks like we will be 6th and 7th respectively, unless tafpres and Ximo break the pact and mercilessly pass us in the last 30 minutes here. ha ha, just kidding, do what you want. It doesn't matter, we are all top 10 now. (I would check official standings but it's WAITING ON NETWORK again)
Any of us have earned the right to whatever spot we want here -or can get- after 6 straight days of grinding. Ximo and tafpres, the only reason I passed you earlier (even though I was utterly sick of this event) is I wanted to get to my 50,000 total draft pick mark, which I reached at 37,975 points in this rival tourney, and was then at 7th place. If you guys bump me I'll be at 9, or 10 if Super Ghian wakes up. Regardless, this top 10 will be a moral victory after getting bumped to 11th last tourney in the final hour. You all are great competitors. Too bad we can't compete in a shorter duration!

No problem at all about passing me earlier, that's what this event is about! 9 is a good spot for me anyway.
I can't say it was nice to participate in the clash but at least knowing that more people is taking part on it makes you feel less weird. Also no hot steaks bought to CatD ... streaks I mean, which is double merit or idiocy depending on how you want to look at it. Pretty sure what is happening in this game would give for some good sociological studies. Well time to take a shower and get ready for work.
Congrats on the rewards to everyone, now please CatD give us an online friendly mode (no rewards) player vs player, 10 turns per player... so we can use those precious cards with some kind of strategy.

I think the next event, not as many people will play, since so many people are burnt out. Spurs vs Rockets event, top 125 was about 12k. So let's say next event's top 125 will be 11k. That's 2k per day, aka 400 games per day... I get about 400 points per hour, 2k will be 5 hours. I don't know if I want to play 5 hours per day... 5 isn't as much as the 12-15 hours i played everyday this event, But 5 is still a lot.Comment

#127 ecovyoudug is also in this forum. Tough to finish just a game or two from the 125th spot. That's like 1-2 mins of playing time. The server issues in the end of course contributed to this. It was a mess with the massive amount of people playing/hot streaking in the last few mins.

I had planned to settle the event on 10,000 points, but during the last couple of hours I was nervous of slipping outta the top 250 that I just had to get a few more games in hahah. Man good event! I got the same place as last event, but i needed 2700 points more to do it. #32^^
Unfortunately my Pippen got the rounding Error, my MJ didnt and i trained them the same way...
Also i just got 2 epics, the pullrate is incredibly bad!
