I'm not talking about the time-span when the network problems happened. I'm talking about waaaaay before that. Like an hour or two before all that.

When I was lurking yesterday I saw someone posted a screenshot of 2 guys being tied at one of the tier cutoffs, yet one guy seemed to get screwed. Curious what the tiebreaker is for Rivals?

I saw one of like 5 or 6 tied at the cutoff

NWGD! It's obvious this game is more popular and has way more players as compared to way back then when we had the 2 hour server test (increase drop rate of epics). I say let's have another one of those! Pleaseeeeeee!

Fair enough and droprate for the Legendaries increased a tad in that period

On a personal level this is true, ie each person if they grinded more or faster earlier could have had a higher spot. On a technical level I don't think it is applicable or at least the same issue as the server issue. Let's for example say instead of you being whatever place you were instead you were on the border. Maybe somehow you were competing with twista for #1. You two are neck and neck and then suddenly toward the end, server issues. Somehow he is connected or has less issues than you and pulls ahead even though you were both playing hard. That is the server issue at fault. So to each individual person sure you could go you should have played harder before, but the technical issue is still there. You'd just get different names complaining about the server problems.

Sorry that happen to you , I posted before , 100-125 was pretty sick the entire day , i took a few 30 min breaks and would go from 104 to 132 in those 30 mins , when server went down I was at 116 , and I swore if it didn't get the Jordan I was instantly gonna delete app, I ended up only getting 2 games in after server crashed and got a legendary magic Johnson in 2nd to last game , finished at 118 , so was pretty happy but I feel for ya.

Yea bro i'm very heartbroken and was very pissed but you know what can I do? And i actually do like my lineup but im 0-14 in seasons lol. I needed that Jordan he was the next big step in the right direction for me, no knoc on Scottie because I dig his game and at the end of the day I have 91 MJ and Scottie playing side by side like the good ol days. I'm just hurtin from this event lol. Thanks again brother for giving an input on the situation.

Well, I know that Ajeezy1, Sagg, and I were fighting for the picks 45- 50 spots. Then the spot 51 guy started hot streaking, and caught up within those last 15 mins the server crashed. I was able to play about 3 games in those 10 mins, I know everyone spots 45-50 had a shot for top 50 because I kept jumping from rank 47 to 50 to 48 while the servers were crashing. Besides, I think Sagg barely made spot 50, and he was well in front of me and Ajeezy1.

No, dude. I've been in that situation with 4-5 more forum users last rival. We were 20-25 and we played our asses off for the last hours to get a distance on #26. Because that's how you secure a position. We didn't even have to play in the last hour.

On this event people speculated too much.

The only one I saw who was obviously doing it on purpose just for fun was EyesGotSouls, and he put a distance on 26th when he had to.

Lol so frustrating missing out on 2 Legendaries cause of that....but part of the roller coaster ride of the enjoyment in this game. Just hoping for better updates to the game, that'd be more than enough compensation for the frustrating end to Rivals 3

Pretend that number 26 thought the same as you and was right with you. What then? Like I said on a personal level you are correct. You are arguing about something fundamentally different though.

Thats not what I mean, Yea its an individual competition, but it also a game that favors people without obligations, so that being said yeah you can grind to a safe spot but there are thousands Of people who cant and maybe lost spots because they tried to secure a spit at the end and couldn't. As a member of the community you should still be unhappy about that whether you finished 1rst of 25000
