Well, I know that Ajeezy1, Sagg, and I were fighting for the picks 45- 50 spots. Then the spot 51 guy started hot streaking, and caught up within those last 15 mins the server crashed. I was able to play about 3 games in those 10 mins, I know everyone spots 45-50 had a shot for top 50 because I kept jumping from rank 47 to 50 to 48 while the servers were crashing. Besides, I think Sagg barely made spot 50, and he was well in front of me and Ajeezy1.

Yea I made it in I tried to warn everyone too and that dude actually made it in top 50 at number 47 I believe

So josh where do i go from here buddy. How do i recover from not having this card. I actually blame you for motivating me to go get it when i was going to settle for scottie and save the stress lmao.

I understand your frustrations.
I actually have 2 friends that I told them to purchase 10$ for hot streaks to make the cut. Told them it was more worth it to spend 10$ for a guaranteed Rodman epic pro than spend on a $20 epic pack that might give you a miserable epic.
But I get your point, not sure how many would do that.

I have at least one friend who was in that grinding group that moved into the top 2000 in the last hour or so. So who knows. A lot of those people were probably previously in the top 2000 and though they were safe like you and then saw oh crap there's people moving time to grind. And clearly you cared about the epic pro. So I don't get where you mean nobody cares. Epic pro is probably the first spot most people are actually getting an upgrade.

I was out for a long weekend, not sure I can catch up on all the posts here, but it seems like there is talk of bots in the Rivals games. I can assure you there are ZERO bots in Rivals. There is no need for it. It's a community based game mode that allows everyone to compete against each other (regardless of deck strength too), so there is no need for bots. The conspiracy theorists will of course insist I am lying, something I have never done to you guys ever. There just is no need for bots, you guys create WAY more competition than we ever could with bots in the Rivals Event. For this event we simply had more people playing than ever before.

well, probably you're right, i'm not sure but your posts are quite persuasive.

in the ranking i can see, i can count 8/50 people which have rare mvp from their favourite team and common names. could be a coincidence, but considering the season bots' profile and considering what happened in that damn hour...i couldn't avoid to think they were bots.

but maybe i was wrong, what anchen and rick said seems to make sense to me. maybe people got a bit (more) crazy for this event and a lot of people grinded really much in the last hour. and i don't have reasons to not believe in what NWgamedad says, actually.

so, since my first aim is collecting cards and not being competitive, since i can't anyway compete in any season, with or without a rodman pro, since my 2 epic pros are 2 PF...i'm ok with my "normal" rodman (that is just a nonsense itself...cause rodman was everything but normal, and that made him GREAT). just wanted to point out something, to understand some mechanisms.

for NWgamedad: as you see, there are no conspiracy theorists, but just people who have reasonable doubts on things they don't know. so, well, keep explaining what you can when you can, keep answering to our question, and people may understand more and doubt less

Pretend that number 26 thought the same as you and was right with you. What then? Like I said on a personal level you are correct. You are arguing about something fundamentally different though.

Let's now put the example of the low top50. An hour or two before the event ended people in there were posting that they maybe they didn't need to play anymore because #51 had seemed to stop playing, that he may have given up.

Justforfunzo suffered the consequences of that because, even though he had a pretty good lead on #51 and was not paying attention, the fact that the rest of the low top50 were speculating and didn't push to make a 1k difference on him to make him give up probably made #51 start hot streaking because the lead was so small. They stayed only a few points away from him and... well, **** happened.

Thats not what I mean, Yea its an individual competition, but it also a game that favors people without obligations, so that being said yeah you can grind to a safe spot but there are thousands Of people who cant and maybe lost spots because they tried to secure a spit at the end and couldn't. As a member of the community you should still be unhappy about that whether you finished 1rst of 25000

If you're on the top 50 or higher (which is mostly what I'm arguing about because it's what I could see on the leaderboards), the "oh, excuse me I have responsibilities" is not a really good excuse. Seriously, you've already put a ton of hours in the competition.

Post a few screenshots of the people who are around you. Can't hurt imo to look. I didn't see anybody who looked like a bot around spot 65.

Also i just noticed that my lead got bigger and bigger and i didnt hotstreak and i played very slow, because i was watching a blu ray and didnt pay attention.

I was having this network issue 5 hours before the end and I thought that server was having a problem. It could've been my wifi though. So I was forced to hot streak when I woke up late Sunday morning. Didn't buy any the previous 4 days battling you guys for the spot. It was exciting and I busted out a few curses at Rahh, ajeezy, Sagg, Homicide, Krayzie, etc. I was not letting +2 legendary cards slip off my hand. Haha!

Let's see your LU and we can figure it out. I do feel bad that you had it and because of the server issues couldn't fight it out. That's why I made sure I had a 4k+ lead going into Sunday. I didn't want to have to sweat it out.

You avoided my example and used what happened to condemn funzo. It doesn't address the server issue though. One of these times you might actually be in a race at the end you know, when that person at 26 you were trying to put space on didn't stop. Just because it didn't happen to you doesn't mean it couldn't happen to you.

Read again, I wasn't putting the blame on funzo.
And sure, if the guy fighting for the last place on the tier doesn't stop it has to be a pain in the butt —that's what happened to ecovyoudug. But the fact here is that #51 stopped a couple hours from the end and people didn't shut the door to the tier.

And again, I'm not talking about the moment when the network issues started, I'm talking about what happened way before that. When the servers crashed it was clearly just luck, if you could get in you would get points.

I actually didnt stop playing all of Sunday....my rate of churning out wins was pretty constant for the entire time, the server just gave way at the most inopportune time, just as I was getting ready to get more hot streaks the final 15 mins.

I think its time they add to penalties to playing people out of position in season mode, other than just a big energy drop off After a game.
