Try joining 5 PM CST (8 PM EST). That covers the US from West to East. The "beast" line ups may still join but usually they don't want to waste time and join whenever they can.

Anyone in the top 50 that didnt buy HS? Im wondering how many hours you guys put in a day to grind... I wanted to get that top 50 spot but as the weekend came near, I got busy and had to grind to try to get back in 125...

The only problem we're really seeing with the event were the network problems near the end. It was "fair" in that everyone was encountering the same problems at least, but completely agree that it was not a fun experience for those last few hours.

First off, this is the most cop-out response you could ever give. Secondly, this isn't true, as users on here detailed different experiences with the last couple hours of the event, even some saying they were able to play up to the end. If "everyone was encountering the same problems", then how would people have been passed within the last 10 minutes, some by 20+ spots. That is too obvious for you to expect us to ignore.

It doesn't matter how much epics the team has, lower epics just increases the chances of the player you get and if you are lucky and get your Jrue, you will get two (so you don't need one)

Tried it 6 or 7 times, didn't get one.

Correct. The x2 notation basically means you are getting a pro (2 identical cards) of whatever you get. This is also true for losing in the finals and getting random rare x2. This is why the winner specially lists random rare x1 twice.

I was in the top 50 the whole time but I used hot streaks on Sunday just so I could stay there because I worked all week to get there and I wasnt going to lose it so I'm guilty but didn't use any until last day

how many hours you put in a day? I averaged about 500 games a day... I'm hoping next event will not be as tough so that I can try to hit top 50 without using HS.

Yea, I went down with exactly 9 mins to go , another " server test " with drop rate improved should be done on Sunday night , or about same time this event ended , not during week or daytime hours when people are working/school etc, a test run at same time this event ended would get the most people on at same time , I can watch walking dead and tap away , lol" oh and for whoever asked before , no I haven't played a single qg all day , pretty burned out .

I think I noticed a little lag from 9:30 EST to 10pm, but for the most part it was business as usual securing my spot. Maybe some peeps here are exaggerating they couldn't get in to the app? I still racked up probably 375 points the last hour of Rivals playing semi-casually

Well, I know that Ajeezy1, Sagg, and I were fighting for the picks 45- 50 spots. Then the spot 51 guy started hot streaking, and caught up within those last 15 mins the server crashed. I was able to play about 3 games in those 10 mins, I know everyone spots 45-50 had a shot for top 50 because I kept jumping from rank 47 to 50 to 48 while the servers were crashing. Besides, I think Sagg barely made spot 50, and he was well in front of me and Ajeezy1.

I was rank 47-50 before the server started having problems, I couldn't play 10 minutes before the event ended. I finished 50th. Thank god I was in the top 50.

I don't think it is that exaggerated. I think people had varying levels of whether they were getting through. Maybe based on what server their load balanced was trying to direct you to. It looked like at least a few were pretty hosed. And that was my original argument to nwgamedad about it not actually being fair/level playing field. There was a chance anybody could have issues but some people were getting worse of it than others.
