I decided to spend some serious cash today and by myself 2 "Deluxe+ Foil Packs" and I wholly succeeded.

First I got Wes Unseld

and after that I got MVP Bill Russell

And after it boosted me from Ultra Rare+ straight to Epic+ I also got Derrick Rose

The only problem now is that the rest of my team is pretty weak. Should I consider proing both legendaries immediately? I am getting quite a few defeats in quick game already and don't want to tarnish my record even more.

What do you guys think?

Yep. UR market will die next. And epic will follow a couple weeks after.

I don't understand why CD made the QG tiers so easy to climb. In last year's app, it seemed like it took 3 or 4 pros of your current tier to move up to the next tier. This year, 1 pro in your current tier, 2 pros from you previous tier and a couple singles from current tier and you're in the next tier.

mainly cause unless you have a star contract (which i've never seen drop) it takes 2 minimum, maybe 3 cards to pro the card you have. and yeah i've climbed much faster than last year but I did buy a pack this time and last year I didn't buy a pack until much much later in the game.

I'd still be SR tier if I hadn't pro'd my UR freebie using auction block and gotten my lebron leg from the pack i bought. I'm not sitting in UR++ and as soon as I finish my season I'm going to pro my Lebron and get into epic and hopefully start drafting epics and getting into legendary QG

I think for the free players its easy until you hit epic. Then you have to start thinking about using your WC to quickly move on or grind like a mofo to pull epic resets. The resets start coming few and far between and (for now) the prices of the epics on AH require some planning before purchasing

The more popular SRs still sell easily. Like Ray Allen,JR Smith,Paul Pierce and some other. I just sold a D'Angelo Russell for 2k buy now pretty much like 30 mins after putting him up.

need some advice...

what would be the best way to get to Legendary tier?

I am currently barely in EPIC tier with
2 SR Pros, 2 UR Pros , and single EPIC (with one boost to get me in tier)

I have 67k RP, and trying to sell all cards under EPIC i get.

I also have 4 wild cards I have not used.

hoping to get my first EPIC reset soon.

Once you get 3 epics just pro those with wildcards and RP that's what I'm doing.

get some rp, try to snipe a leg for 80k at ah...pro him with 2 wildcards, boost all cards and get leg freebie

dont waste rp or wildcards on epic

Yeah Star contracts are behind a paywall, therefore it takes 3 cards to pro for free players, but the player has more ways to make that pro (i.e. AH and WC).

AH values right now are not sustainable long term. They should know that and shouldn't build the tiers around it. Cards in Rare and SR are already starting to time out at min, the other tiers will follow at some point in the near future.

And I know WC don't drop much, but honestly, they shouldn't. The WC is just too powerful. Everytime I think about buying an epic or leg from AH, I think how many extra packs I could buy with that and possibly pull a WC instead.

My point is though, does it matter if it is twice as hard to pro one card when you need half as many pros to move up?

Agreed, but as a free player last year, I would have been very happy to be in Epic in mid October. I didn't make it there until mid November last year.

Like I said above, AH prices are going to go down. And they will go down before the month is out. Epics might not go for min by then, but they won't be 30,000.

For every individual, I think it's great that everyone can move up quick. The problem is AH and the economy. I would like AH to work in this game. I like it, but unfortunately, long term I'm skeptical it will. Apps been out 2 weeks, and we have seen two tiers become almost useless in AH (I don't count common and UC). UR tier is next. In a month, Legendary might be the only tier that matters.

Someone posted that 1 leg pro, 2 UR pros, 2 epics got them in without boosting, so it might be possible.

Edit: Went back reread the post. Poster did boost his leg pro only.

yeah with stat boost it will work...

Is that min for leg with boost? or without boost. i'm guessing without cuz the bar actually shows it? hrm. i might just need 1 more wildcard then for me to be there before my 1k foil!
