I think people are complaining that he got the Jordan plus Pippen and support card for finishing 125.

So ecovyoudug, just post here that they took away the Pippen and support card. :-)

Other option is NGWD to give 125 and up free epic packs. :-)

But to be honest it doesn't affect anyone else, they are complaining out of jealousy. We should be glad he got good rewards.

Its really a lose/lose situation at this point. Nothing against eco because hes cool, but really where can we go from here? Take away jordan from the 3 people that passed him? Give more rewards? Give second place a rival pro?

Theres no solution here where everybody will be happy. I agree the initial response of "too bad it was fair" was rudimentary but we accepted it and moved on. Now we play the "what if" game for everybody within 5 spots of the next tier. The people 26-50 have every right to be disgruntled now because of his award but then what? 26-50 gets another pippen and i get boned for coming in 13th? Give me support then 2-10 wasted money grinding so hard?
Theres no endgame here, they should have just left it the way it was. They created more problems by making 1 person happy (once again no disrespect to eco) than this whole thing was worth. Let the conspiracy theories fly, but even an "official" response by NWGD will bring controversy regardless of what he says.

I don't even think I'd be happy getting more than I actually played for. I came to grips with the fact I wasn't getting Pippen. I didn't have the will for it. I just think it's BS to throw bones to people that didn't make it. I know the last half hour was rough, but it was a six day event. Come on. That's like when teams complain about the refs in the last minute of a game. Yeah, it plays a role, but I was always taught to perform in such a way that it can't be taken from you. That's just me though.

But again, if they wanna give the Jordan away, fine. Their call. They gotta go in and take the Pippen+support though. Whether it's against policy to take cards or not.

I argued in favor of giving something to people who just missed out because there was server issues at the end of the event, and not just a complete shut down but an uneven server outage in that some people could play and others couldn't which resulted in basically an asterisk since we don't really know who should and should not have rightfully those last spots. It wasn't about specific players it was about the technical issues for me. If it wasn't eco it'd be another name, maybe someone not even part of this forum, and I'd argue the same for them, since it was out of their control AND it was uneven in who got in and who didn't at the end. If the server just went down for everyone I'd think it would be a little fair but wouldn't really argue anything. But that's not what happened so I was part of the group that argued they should get something (I didn't actually say give them the next tier up card although that is probably the "logical" thing).

But I am 100% in agreement that they should not keep their previous reward tier reward. That can't really be allowed to stand if that is what is happening.

Lol so I guess there are 20 Rivals Kobe's and 126+(?) Jordans floating around in this game. It's pretty cool whenever I see someone with RC Kobe as their team captain...knowing how rare it is

Thats why i will always leave Kobe as my mvp even though i really dont like him that much.

I understand your point but what theyre saying isnt "im so jealous you got what you deserved" they all are happy he got jordan. What theyre saying is "why did i spend 10 more hours over a 6 day period and grind harder with more stress and get the same thing as you?"

I wonder if they will feature another Lakers rivals? This way those who got the 20 Kobes will have a chance to pro them.

Or I just hope the Kobe rivlas card won't be beaten by future rivals cards that will be coming out.

I am happy that MJ has the best card period. Lebron "can" also have a better card than Kobe.

But if that Kobe rivals card gets beaten by lets say reggie miller, kevin durant, ewing, griffin.... I won't be happy.

It's not jealousy. I don't want anything else for me.

I'm just a crotchety old man that doesn't like seeing whining rewarded.

In my day, we played MyNBA1K991 on a rotary phone, and we WORKED for all of our cards.

I kinda agree with this opinion. He basically got " the best of both worlds". I came in 48th, loss lots of sleep and my life lol. I'm just saying, make it fair for those who lost out too, or give him either rivals Jordan or pippen and support. I think it's a fair argument in all.

I would guess there is still a similar "base" for cards, probably the same as their legendary or close, and then they get modifiers for being a rival card. Given there are other legends better than legendary Kobe there probably will be something better rival kobe possibly down the line.

I think they said you'll never get to pro the Kobe card (because they won't re-release it) which is both cool and sucks I think heh.
