About how much RP am I looking at spending on hot shots to get the last card? Haven't finished a RTTC yet but with the team goals I figure I should try. I think I'd have to do +5 on the last card as I only have 11 leg pros.

Zero on hot shots, but I think 48k + 24k on hot streaks should be enough for Curry.

Edit: I stand corrected. I just noticed the card catalog. MJ as an RC card means RC is going to be wild.

Well, I like the concept of this RttC, but a little more variety would be nice. 3 of 4 Legendary cards are PGs. How is that helping anyone? Also, we've now had both Wade and Curry who have had both RC and RttC cards, yet KD, LeBron, etc. still haven't had one.

Okay since no one seems to be talking about it. What format for this RttC are they going by?

Why are the the Spurs & Clippers the Finals cards (Duncan and CP)? Then you have Kyrie, Hasan and Rose as the Playoffs. I'm really curious as to the reasoning behind this order. Are they basing this on the current standings. Cause if so, where's ATL, OKC, Pacers?

Agreed. I'm already PG heavy and now I will be adding 3 more PGs if I finish this RTTC. Guess the only positive is that they will be stronger than the regular singles I have and will make the regular singles expendable and I can probably sell them to go pack hunting for WCs

With this special Christmas event we are simply breaking the format. This isn't so much a Road to the Championship, as cool Christmas card event in a Road format. We tried to get the graphics changed to all say Road to the Championship instead of Playoffs, Finals, etc. but we could not get the change in before our last update. C'est la vie! We thought it was better to break the normal RttC history format just so we could get lots of cool cards in on those one with the Christmas theme.

I have said this many times, position is not a huge factor when it comes to selecting event cards. There are just WAY too many other factors that are much more important (e.g. available pics, players that fit the rarity, numbers of cards of said players, licenses on players, etc.). For the Christmas cards the major limiting factor was pictures. These cards all have players in their Christmas Day jerseys which limited our selection of players. For the legendary cards it was further limited by having true Legendary players in that rarity. I'm trying to make sure we don't "Swaggy P" it this year.


I get that people want to min/max and position is a part of that, but sometimes that just doesn't line up. Sometimes people want positions that you don't need too, so don't take your experience as what everyone else's experience is. Step back and look at the fact that there are a lot of cool Legendary cards being offered in the same event.

I'm going to be out of network range when the event starts. I wonder how deep into RTTC I'm going to be able to make it without buying game nights etc. Only have 2 legendary pros though.

Also share sentiments about getting crushed in season. I'm only a day in a full human season (yes, no bots) and it looks like there is no chance in hell I'm going to sniff the playoffs. It's one thing if players were similarly matched to me, but a lot of my opponents have multiple RS pros, lots of event pros, and just completely outclass me.

Guess it's back to starting seasons in the wee hours of the night and hoping to make it out of the first round.
