I have always held that RC should be the premiere event. It was in '14 and what CD did with PO tier and RttC last year was flat out gross.

Then, they decided to add 4 specs to RttC cards this year. By the end of Legendary tier, everyone had Curry and LeBron. And I worked much harder to get my top 100 RC cards than any RttC card.

The Wade's were fair, but those two last one's and Ben Wallace this time kinda sullied the point of the game. Honestly, it is depressing that they did it this way and continue to do it. I really don't care much for the money argument; but have noticed that they aren't card collectors. LBJ RttC and didn't win. What?

My suggestion would have been to keep cards at 2-3 specs, but supposedly these guys know best. And the fact that they recycled the same player from last year as the first RC card shows great depth. Thanks CD. Can't wait till I see VC 2017 as the first Star RC card. Sarcasm included.

i've only ever been able to manage to reach the top 4k once in RC. So changing the cutoffs only affects me from the standpoint that I'm not going to sniff getting a star card from RC. No way I'll ever have enough time to play and grind out top 1800.

On the bright side, at least I don't need to work nearly as hard to get a legendary card now? That's a plus -- even if legendary cards do little for me now.

Question Re: Seasons,

As I've leveled up my cards (and just entered a brutal Legend season sadly), I see that my bar is nearly full for legend. It is entirely possible that once I finish leveling up my cards that are in season that I may get bumped to low star tier. Even just by a sliver. Should I just go for getting into star season now? Or should I wait and try and stick to high legend? Note from above: I have no event cards, no MVPs, and no Record Setters.

Always play in the highest season you can play in. Just making the playoffs in a Star Season will net you a Legendary card. So unless you get in a season with 16+ humans, you should be able to at least make the playoffs

Whats your LU look like?

Yea I know but I think it's worth a shot. I started one on Monday morning and it only had 7 humans (including myself).

Honestly.. not really. Ever since the Xmas event, if you dont Asst Manager or keep up with your energizing every ~5 games, seasons are a struggle..

In his case I think it's worth it. For someone with a stronger lineup that can really only benefit from getting Stars then its not worth it. This season I'm in is the first one I've played in probably a month and a half. And depending on how it goes, it may be my last until I get a stronger LU lol
