I got bopped in Game 1. I'm moving around some players, and I'm gonna make an earnest attempt at Game 2. If I get worked again, then I'm done.

3rd Finals loss in a row.

I did the same thing. I tossed my Doc Rivers Max Pro and Jason Kidd Max pro in. I think I won twice but even then I couldn't hold the guy off.

I just realized Google Play has leaderboards in this game. I'm second with most exhibition wins. And I have yet to draft a Legendary player. I've really slowed down on playing quick games for the past week because I can't seem to get anything. I'm at the point now that even drafting a Legendary won't help me in seasons because I'm consistently put in with at least one person who has +500 in each category. I need at least two more players to even compete.

Anyway, I have a question about the two team packs that you get for losing in the first round. The one time I tried it, I got two of the same Uncommon cards. Some guy on this board had gotten two of the same Epics. And I also saw a couple people who got two of the same Commons. Do you always get the same cards in the two team packs?

I just realized Google Play has leaderboards in this game. I'm second with most exhibition wins. And I have yet to draft a Legendary player. I've really slowed down on playing quick games for the past week because I can't seem to get anything. I need at least two more players to even compete.

Some guy on this board had gotten two of the same Epics. And I also saw a couple people who got two of the same Commons. Do you always get the same cards in the two team packs?

I've noticed when you get two of the same rarity as a reward "at the same time" it's always the same card. Because they're randomly chosen at the exact same time. So if you win a season and you get two rare cards those two rare cards will be the same card. Same with losing in a finals.

If you're lucky enough to get the 1st round playoff loss and get an epic in your team pack you'll get two epics, because it's the same card twice.

The two team packs from the first round always give the same player twice. I've done this a couple times now and it has always been the case. Right now, I've set my favorite team as the Pelicans because out of the 7 cards they have, 3 of them are epic so the chances of getting an epic are probably the best out of any other team.
Yesterday I completed my first season using the Pelicans and got 2 Ryan Anderson cards so hopefully my next season will prove to be more successful in terms of rewards.

I've never gotten two of the same card in a season, and I've gotten multiple rares from a season at least 5 times.

Which round have you made it to?

Has there been any attention paid to how often Special Abilities trigger?

Obviously, it would be hugely tedious to compile meaningful information on trigger percentages, but it would affect a lot.

Just anecdotally, in my Quick Games, my Luol Deng card seems to trigger its Ability a LOT. Seemingly exponentially more than any of my other cards. It seems like I can count on it to trigger at around a 50% rate, while other cards seem to trigger at 10% or so.

I know we all speed through Quick Games, but has anyone taken any time to examine this?

I've never lost in the first round, and that seems to be the pack that people are talking about. It's the only x2 team pack.

Winning and losing finals both give you 2x of the same card as well. I've lost in the finals a bunch and pretty much always get 2 of the same rare from it. (I can't say always but I can say I've gotten it as many times as I can remember. At least 3.)

I am pretty sure but not positive there was a nwgamedad post that said the higher the rarity the more likely an ability is used. So an epic would trigger more often than a rare. No idea on percentages.

I once did some accounting of how often my cards had abilities triggered in quick games. I think I did about 20 or so triggers for all 5 of the cards.

The chance of triggering seemed to fluctuate between 10%-20%. I did have one card at 25% (Sean Elliott) but I think it was just luck.

I now assume 15% for all of my rare cards. I don't have an epic pro so I havent tested.

I'm about to get my reward for a Finals loss in 20 minutes. I'll post it.

I've lost 3 finals in a row, but I don't even remember if I've been getting duplicate Rares. I think I might have last time. Don't really recall though.

All the more reason to start recording season rewards results and see if we can see any patterns . I lost in the finals once and don't recall getting two of the same rare but maybe I just missed it. Maybe because it is a pack that the two team packs give two of the same? Only one way to find out I guess.

I've won 3 finals and lost 1, and I'm positive I've never gotten 2 of the same rare. I wrote them down.
