MyTeam Mobile Discussion
The problem with that is the catalog will become over saturated with cards. You think proing epics/legends is hard now. Just wait rare pros would become the equivalent, in terms of difficulty drafting, of current epic pros and so on.......
This was partially proven by the mid season card additions.

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
They can update and carry over if they want but 2k will likely want a new app for 2k15 just like 2k14 is a new one and of course 2k13 from before. Also if you follow EA and their ultimate team (all sport games pretty much), then you'll know each version = new ultimate team. The old one still works (i think, haven't tried) but almost no one plays them (aka you'll queue a long time for a season, there won't be anymore events, etc).
The other reason is new season = a lot of transaction/roster moves. Adding cards without deleting will increase the resources by a lot. You'll pretty much see 100s of new cards to replace the current ones on the wrong team (i.e. say James leaves the heat and signs with the Cavs, except there will be 100s of minor transaction as well as big ones) but i doubt CD will delete the existing ones (i.e. MS vs old one, they kept both).
And this game doesn't have a card for every player. And the majority of good cards are retired players. And at most 3 or 4 major players may change teams.

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
I don't see why everyone thinks this game will end when 2k15 comes out. The console side and myteam mobile are 2 separate things. This is a mobile card game that they can easily just update, or have 2 separate versions. You can still play 2k13 now 2k14 is out can't you?
I can still play black ops 1 online now part 2 is out. Most players have moved to the newer version so that's the better experience, but there are still people playing the older game.
Edit.. I don't actually play black ops just an example.

But then you run into issues with epics and leg that are not proed. Are you supposed to just chuck a leg knowing it can never be proed in the new version.
For example, I have about 20 epics and 4 leg that will be very hard to pro in the current game. They are essentially worthless if not proed so I am saving them for that possibility. If the next version makes them obsolete I'm going to be discouraged and will not want to waste my time in the next version.

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
I know this app will still probably be out when 2k15 drops but I'm talking more of the carryover of cards. That is more than likely not gonna happen. There won't be any new updates or RC events once 2k15 is out so what would be the point of even playing this one.

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
I don't get why people would think that this game will be obsolete when 2k15 comes out... the realistic theory would be they update the app and cards. They probably won't even make a new app for 2k15 but just update this game to nba 2k15 my team mobile. Devs won't just stop an app that they are making money on... you think regulars like Twista and many others are gonna just jump ship to a new app after putting buttloads of money and time into upping their deck is this game... like I said chances are they just update the app to go along with 2k15... nwgamedad would lose more money than they would gain... its all about money.Comment
