If legend pros are being given out like epic pros that puts people at a tier closer than epic pros vs legends. Epic pros were only equal to legends while legend pros are better than playoff singles. It's like rare pros that were always better than epics. Who wanted "single epics" when you could get rare pros that smashed them.

Pre patch pro purple=single gold

Post patch pro gold= single playoff blue

The fact that people that used to get epic pros are now being given leg pros makes no difference. Because the people above them that got the leg and leg pros are now getting playoff and playoff pros.

I'm not sure if you are just being stubborn just for the sake of arguing. The gap between legend and playoff is like rare vs epic instead of epic vs legend. Rare pros are almost universally better than single epics. Legend pros are almost universally better than playoff singles. The only time that a pro was only equal and not better than the next tier was epic pro vs legend. So if that is the shift then technically the gap is closing a bit.

You know, I've mostly been reading the other site when I have time but the arguments on this one are much more exciting. I've become a fan of the update simply for how much entertainment value I've received reading everyone's reactions.

In terms of a grind this is true. In terms of card power it is not. A post patch pro gold legend is almost always better than a single playoff blue.

Please check the spreadsheet before posting such nonsense. Leg Pros have an average +500 in total stats compared to Playoff cards. Ming and Mullin are the only exceptions. Leg Pro LBJ has over 750 total stats more than Playoff LBJ.

By the way, don't you guys think it is a complete failure from the flavour point,
some non-pro play-off cards being better than non-pro legends (a.k.a. all time greats)?

I've never thought so. A lot more games get played during rivals typically though.

But my point with this is, that I think I will never have an leg pro, because it is very hard to get one leg two times. But it is pretty easy to buy one playoff card which gives a great boost.
And now with all those new legend-but-not-really-legend-cards it´s even harder to dupe one

Exactly, so the update isn't a complete failure in that sense. I can put in half the work for a better card knowing I will never dupe the playoff card. Fine by me, I already have a head start with 4 other legend pros.

Another one leaving the game, I needed an excuse to stop wasting my time and CD´s attitude with 1.18 sealed the deal. Don't want to keep on supporting a company that shows that kind of loyalty.

I think I´ll leave the game as top 2 in wins achieved, of that I´m ashamed
