I think you're missing their argument... (Vets, correct me if I'm wrong) As competitive as these vets are, they are quite humble and have no issues with increased competition. The argument is that an RC card should be equally elite, old or new; and a more elite card (playoff) should not be obtainable by draft or direct purchase. I think a higher tier of card is fine, but one should have to put in the work it; fight it out in a RC, where only a handful of them can be obtained.

Perhaps but that assumes RC cards should always be the best cards.

Somebody with lots of free time might think so, but the corporate executive who has more money than time might not.

Legendary cards used to be the best. Then RC cards were on top. Now some Playoff cards are apparently better. In a month or two it may be something else.

Every play style should have a chance to compete.

Disagree, you absolutely will not see any other players spend like Adil and I did. And not to pay myself on the back, I could still win every rivals and I could easily dump another 10k into the game and ruin it for everyone. So don't give me that the new players will fuel the game. The vets now have been here since the beginning. This game will end when 2K15 is out and we will all lose our decks.

Woah man, take it down a notch for a second, I'm not attacking you, I'm not even saying your completely wrong. You could do all that, but you're not going to and I get why, that's a different issue that Cat Daddy screwed up, I'm only saying that now, the game is more in the hands of the old players who now have a reason to spend and new players (like all the vets were once) who are now spending and getting some better decks out of it. No one has to spend close to what you spent anymore to have a deck like yours with the legend packs and if they did and got to that all playoffs pro lineup well than that would be the official passing of the torch. Also keep in mind, all of this only makes sense in the context that you and the other vets are done. Like you said, you have to be one of the richest FBI agents out there lol so you could drop another 10 g's and stay at the top but you retired until cat daddy does something they've already said they will not do.

If Lebron's defense is 829, MJ should be like 1,200. Hardly anybody in the NBA plays defense. If people think the NBA is fun to watch now, you should've seen it in the 80's and 90's

You know I got a warning for having a good conversation about lebron James a few weeks ago because it wasn't on topic.

Where are the mods because this crap is truly getting old guys, if I were a mod I would ban all of you for the non stop complaining about the update, playoff cards, RC cards not being special anymore.

Let's get the discussion about the game and the RC event going again.

I'm a regular poster on both sites I've been playing this game non stop since the end of the Lakers vs spurs RC I've spent a few hundred dollars on the game, I've placed 21, 48 and 108 in the last three RC events so I know about time and money invested into this game. I'm not 100% happy about everything but it's time to move on and stop beating a dead horse.

Its getting so bad I'm starting to miss all the dumb questions about why we all use a 3-2 lineup lol!

Agreed, I always thought that the ceiling would be cards like Hall of Fame but not playoffs or rivalsV2. Of course these aren't necessarily the cap yet.
