Oh and I'll also go into some stats that matter.

Westbrook in the playoffs had the 4th highest Player Impact Estimate. His effective FG% was 45%, 6% below Durant.

In the last 2 games of the playoffs vs the Spurs, Westbrook went 14 for 35, and 3 for 12 from 3pt land. Shooting 40%, 25% 3pt, with all the TO aren't really helping us get the W.

game 5- He and KD both shot 50% from field (kd was actually better by 1 shot). But RW went 7-9 from the stripe while KD went 1-4. RW had 1 more TO but 2 more steals and had a +5 +/- better than KD

game 6- RW went 8-23 and KD went 12-25 (It is a fact that KD is a better shooter) but RW has an edge in FTs again (17-18 to Kds 5-7). They had the same amount of TOs but RW had 5 more steals and a whopping +14 over KD

I like 2BG and have been subscribed since the early days of 2k13 myteam, but he has gotten a bit dull with his commentary. He does know what he is talking about though.

I think I've been watching since 2k11 with the Nuthouse crew videos. My favorite vids are definitely 2k13 MyTeam though. I don't really like Bill's vids on there, but their dual coms on the let's play channel are so hilarious.

I completely agree. Brooks is literally killing us. But Westbrook is not efficient. He's a great player, but if we intend on sticking to Brook's system, we won't win with Russ.

Brooks has no system outside of give the ball to x player let them run an iso or random pick/roll and see what happens

We can talk about stats all new want but what about the qualitative stuff. Why does Westbrook seem to **** up a lot of games in the clutch? I do not watch them too often but whenever I do I see an open KD in the corner and at the same time I see a transition 3 from Westbrook. It happens way too often.

If we could get a solid coach, we don't need to ditch Westbrook. He's an elite player. But in our current system, it just doesn't work.

I think if we had Pop or Thibs as our coach, Russ could average 25 and 8. I also think we need a decent scoring SG, Thabo didn't cut it, and Lamb hasn't proven himself yet. I said Brad Beal earlier, he'd fit with them just right, but even someone like Afflalo or Waiters would do well.

Because there is this narrative that Westbrook is always the scapegoat for evrything while KD gets zero blame for anything. The only reason why I went off on this huge rant was because people were wanting to trade him for cents on the dollar and they thought it was a steal. For the record I never said he is a better player than KD just that he performed better in the playoffs than the MVP did

I actually like Lamb a lot. I was mad that Butler/Fisher were getting more minutes than him. He needs to actually play to develope lol. I wish you guys would have gotten Afflalo but I thought you would at least get someone like Shumpert who was being shopped all year

I agree with you on this. That's why they got owned by the Heat in 2012. The Spurs this year, almost last year, and the Mavs in 2011 (Other than Dirk going god mode in the Playoffs) showed how to beat the Heat, ball movement and good coaching, that's the two things OKC didn't do, it was always the same thing from them, give it to KD or RW and get out of the way, and all of that falls on Brooks not making the proper adjustments as the Series went on.

We could've gotten Shump for dirt cheap, but our owner never wants to make a trade that'll be beneficial or even spend money.

It's not even that KD gets zero blame. There was one game that he missed a free throw and the Oklahoma City newspaper called him not clutch (I think during the Memphis series). There are way too many times where Westbrook can pass it to many players more open then him but decides to shoot anyway. Like someone said earlier 3-24 from 3 pt line. Why is one man taking 24 threes? J.R. Smith had like 18 in one game and I was shaking my head. During the WCF he missed a lot of open jumpers. KD had bad games but Westbrook had worse.
