Outplayed KD? By shooting 21 times and making 42% of those? KD averaged almost 30 PPG on, slightly less than usual, 46% FG.
That was a career year for Lowry, Westbrook is a star PG, of course he'd be better, its expected. Lowry isn't, but still a very good PG. Competitive? Of course he is, he is the heart of the Raptors. Team player? Yes, the Raptors improved tremendously when Rudy Gay got traded, Lowry's numbers jumped, and the team started to move the ball a lot more. Vasquez didn't average a lot, but he shot 39% 3FG in the regular season and 37% 3FG in the Playoffs, that is decent shooting. Face it, Westbrook is a really good player, but a ball dominant PG.

What do you mean face it? That's not the argument here. I admit he is not a good shooter by any means. Not denying that Lowry got heart but you can say the same thing about RW or any player for that matter. It doesn't mean much. You casually forget to mention that GV shot 44% on everything inside the 3 point line. Which is bad

He could/should be better with his decision making but that's very coachable (They'll never win a title with Brooks as coach) but that doesn't change the fact that trading a top 10 player not even in his prime for a 28 year old PG/backup PG when they already have one/promising young big man and a non lottery 1st rounder is a good deal by any stretch

So basically KD took took/made 2 more shot. He had a better PER outplayed the best PG in the league. I can't believe you call yourself a Thunder fan because true fans actually know how important RW is to the team

Westbrook averaged 4.5 turnovers/game in the playoffs. Those 4 possessions don't seem like much, but it can be 4-6 more points. Those 6 extra points? Those win us game 6 against the Spurs, and force a game 7, with momentum on our side.

Westbrook also takes boneheaded shots in crunch time. This year, he had KD wide open for a shot to take the lead, but no he has to shoot the contested shot. I don't know about you but I want the best shooter in the world taking that shot over anyone, especially Westbrook.

Maybe if you actually watched the games, you'd agree.

Westbrook also takes boneheaded shots in crunch time. This year, he had KD wide open for a shot to take the lead, but no he has to shoot the contested shot. I don't know about you but I want the best shooter in the world taking that shot over anyone, especially Westbrook.

I agree, Westbrook makes mistakes, takes bad shots, and turns the ball over. But he has also singlehandedly won us many games. Remember the game against the Clippers when we were down 7 with 49 seconds left? The only reason we were that close in the first place was Westbrook dominated that game. Durant had a terrible shooting night, ( although he was clutch) but we still won the game, even against a hyper-efficient Clippers team. Of course you turn the ball over more when you have the ball more. Those 4 turnovers would be spread out a bit more if other players handled the ball more, trust me.

You do realize there was a pretty large portion where Westbrook was injured. The fact that Westbrook had that many shots with significantly less playing time shows how much of a chuck he is. KD will never win when there are two Batmans on one team. One person has to be Robin and it must be Westbrook if Thunder want a shot at the title.

You mean the game 6 that Westbrook forced into OT (that steal where he picked off I think Danny Green when the Thunder were down by 4 was huge). He had bad decision making but lets not pretend that KD didn't bricked a couple of key shots down the stretch of that game.

The real reason you guys lost game 6 was because your genious of a coach decided to switch every screen the Spurs put out and the Spurs knew that so everytime down the floor, they would force a switch so that Fisher has to guard the greatest PF of all time. That's why you lost, not Westbrook. If the Thunder got a new coach that can call actual plays, they WILL win a title

That is great unbiased review of your team. Props to you.

Everyone's teams have crazy problems. My Knicks for example need to learn to fight over screens. Constant switching is what cost us a lot of games last year as well as inconsistent shooting from guys and Melo's FG% got worse every quarter due to fatigue. We switched more than any team I think as well

So this is a little off topic but it goes back to the thing you guys were talking about earlier with the YT commentators.

I've been annoyed that commentators like Shake and STG are doing "NBA2K15 IRL" videos when all it is is them shooting around or playing a pickup game. That isn't gameplay, it's you being a money whore. When you search "NBA 2K15" in YT, guess what comes up? Shake's "IRL 2K15" video. Instead of the ACTUAL game getting publicity, you're falsely advertising your channel. Is someone going to make a big deal about this? No. But I hope that some people get what I'm saying

Oh and I'll also go into some stats that matter.

Westbrook in the playoffs had the 4th highest Player Impact Estimate. His effective FG% was 45%, 6% below Durant.

In the last 2 games of the playoffs vs the Spurs, Westbrook went 14 for 35, and 3 for 12 from 3pt land. Shooting 40%, 25% 3pt, with all the TO aren't really helping us get the W.

I completely agree. Brooks is literally killing us. But Westbrook is not efficient. He's a great player, but if we intend on sticking to Brook's system, we won't win with Russ.

I don't like STG either he makes all these money whore discussion videos. I rememberered he made a video about Lebron losing weight.

Yea he made so many like 3 minutes or less videos just for the draft, practically every lottery pick. Why can't you just make one 15 minute summary video?

STG is a money whore with no real knowledge of the NBA besides good 3pt shooters and good dunkers.

Shake is a money whore too, switched to mlg.tv because he wanted moey for streaming. But Shake is at least a good commentator, knows what he's talking about most of the time, and is actually dedicated to uploading consistently now.

STG still lives at home, he gets hype during the day, but at night he's gotta keep quiet otherwise his whole vid is done.

At the end of the day... The guys that do it for the people and not the money are really Robby on 2BG, and 2BG. They just do what the subscribers want.

I like 2BG and have been subscribed since the early days of 2k13 myteam, but he has gotten a bit dull with his commentary. He does know what he is talking about though.
