So using a 3-2 deck playing +5 game is the way to go to rank up? Or have I missed something? I win like 70% of the +5 games so that's decent I think.

Depends. You can win 100% of your games if you drop tiers, but you 'll be sacrificing your chances on getting a top tier card.

3/2 is definitely the way to go, but you must find the balance to do so in the highest maximum tier you can while also maintaining a decent amount of win percentage.

For example i can play the 3/2 in Star tier, but i dropped to Leg++ just to have a high win percentage in the +5 games. I know i am missing out on that Star card, but if i keep this up at least i 'll get a Leg reset (plus the RC awards).

I hate this card!! Every time I pull it, jus for a split second I think it's legendary lillard! Which would be a dupe for me lol

Yeah, I'm doing this now. My normal tier is Ultra Rare+ but I'm getting my points in the super rare tear. I already have enough Ultra rares anyway. My focus is on the Elite+ cards anyway. Curry would really complete my lineup.

Judging by this first day, how many points do you think the 800th place will have by the end of the RC? If it has 750 right now (and taking into consideration that the 24th and 25th of December will be kind of slow), i am thinking around 5.500-6.000 points.
