They never said its all stars, only east and west, and check his new thread, the best cards are leg pros this time

I made the post before I noticed the new thread. Fair enough though, Leg Pros are normally better than RC cards. Wasn't sure about them being proable since in the prior RCs, pro legends weren't given out as rewards.

There won't be any star cards, but there will be leg pros

I figured, since it would difficult to release the update with the RC being so close. I guess they wouldn't want to release any new RC cards since I'm assuming in the Clash after Christmas, the RC cards will be better than stars (if the RC cards are the top tier prize)

I have a really bad feeling this RC will be extremely underwhelming. The banner promoting Butler and Curry as legendaries isn't the best sign. Since its West-All Stars vs East All Stars, I'm guessing they'll be giving out multiple Christmas day jersey cards like the ones featured. Normally though, the two cards featured are "Rivals Tier" and not legendary. (Dr. J, Bird, 2010 Dwight, Wilkins). I really hope Curry and Butler won't be the best from each side only has legendaries. Comparing it to my RC Dwight in the catalog, those are normal legends and not rivals legends. Maybe they'll be slightly boosted and be better than normal cards of their tier, like the loyalty cards and ladder MJs?

I'd be very upset if they don't offer any cards that have star rarity stats, considering the legends would no longer be top tier in two weeks. I'd rather not grind my butt off for a top prize if its going to be much less useful than the rewards a week or two later. I compared the star rarity harden NW posted on twitter the other day to my 0/40 Dwight and the total of their base stats were 2 points apart (iirc, Dwight had the slight edge). I'd hope for at least a rivals clash/star rarity card for this weekend.

A few things, this isn't All-Stars. We're not even to the All-Star break yet in the regular Season. We'll have stuff going on around then.


The top prizes are not RC cards, but Legendary Pros. The brackets are much more relaxed for this event so players should have an easier time. We wanted people to have time with family and friends while still having a fun event this week.


Star rarity has been announced but isn't released yet. When Star rarity comes out it will make an appeared in RC games after the release.

Cards aren't draftable so the only way to pro one of these cards if you don't happen to make into the pro legend reward bracket is to wait for Auction House and no doubt they will be sold at crazy prices. Hopefully there isn't a player I really like in the single Legendary spot and theres a SG, SF or PF epic dupe

NWGameDad did say the rewards were generous this time around. Maybe top 100 or 150?

I'm just thinking, wouldn't it be funny if Butler isn't an all star this year? There have been worse snubs, such as Lowry last year. Davis almost got snubbed too last year and only got in because Kobe was injured even though he was averaging 20 pts, 10 rebounds and 3 blocks at the break.

Looks like it. Now the question is which one should I go for, either would help, but I'm already stacked at PG with an Epic Pro and 3 Legendaries.
