Greg Monroe is my Star + Reset came after 2030 games. I also picked up 3 Legs in between resets. I don't count boards but that's quite a few games played.

Sucks Pistons won't win, you could have gotten an easy dupe.

LOL, I'm sure the next tier will be Playoff cards around mid April. CD can't do all of this at once, AH, mid-season cards, and a new tier so soon? No way.

When the playoffs start put him as starting SG, coz then you 'll be energizing more frequently. When he is a starter he has a much bigger chance of being selected. For a secondary player to be chosen, the starter has to be selected first.

Don't do this, this is bad advice. What's ironic is that in your own post you stated why it's a bad idea.

The way season AI works is as stated. When a starter gets played he gets "flagged," he can't be played again until his backup is played, and vice versa for the backup. Additionally while the AI doesn't always select the best player it almost always selects the higher tier player. As such it's best to play two top players as backup/starter because they've got a high chance of both being played and constantly swapping starter/backup from game to game. If a high level player is played in the same position as a low level player there's a good chance that player will get "stuck" because the lower level player doesn't get played.* Also playing Kyrie out of position is a bad idea because he doesn't get the 5% in position bonus he'd get by staying as a PG.



*This is the reason why people end up saying things like "OMG TEH CD GODZ DIDN'T PLAY MY 'X' CARD!"

We have only used current players in the Star tier for RC.

If that so, I dont think Lin would only be a Super rare card and lower than his coach B.Scott...even other people think he is not so stable this season, however he actually made some amazing record such as first 5 start and get incredible pts that should deserve a record set card while Rasheed Wallace has the "most technical fouls" RS card.....

But what you're saying is ideally it's best to have two high tier players in starter/backup for the same position as the likelihood of them being played, and therefore able to be played again, is higher?

As opposed to, say, running a Star Kyrie with a UR pro backup in an epic season because the UR pro has a lower chance of being played, effectively locking Kyrie out?

Dupe pippen from season rewards this morning, then drafted a dupe Westbrook, then got hardaway as star freebie, then drafted gasol after about 20 games, then got swaggy p after about another 100 games... What a lucky day

Byron Scott was a better player than Lin was though... And Lin never broke any real records.

Just read NWGamedad's explanation on Nick Young reward. The reason that star card reward must be a current active player (2014-2015) of the RC team is just a self imposed rule by them. It's not like it was demanded by the NBA and they couldn't break it. He also said that he knew almost everybody would be upset with his choice and still went along with it.

It's like if Adam Silver names Nick Young to take over Kobe Bryant's spot on the all star team and just saying I wanted the replacement to be from the same team. You can see how illogical the thought process went into the decision.

If they hold to this self imposed rule. The we can expect more illogical choices for star RC rewards if teams like Boston, Philadelphia, Milwaukee, Indiana, Orlando, Minnesota, New Orleans are chosen as RC teams.
