Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
They don't need to do that, they can just have a fix % chance from start to finish, but they have a ceiling that says enough is enough.
If we say you have a 0,3% chance of getting a star card, that gives you about 300 boards to clear it.
If we do the math. On every board it 99,7% that you get something else then a star.
By board 230 it's down to about 50% of you getting a star , when at board 300 it's about 60%
At 400 it's 70%
Thats the mathematical probability

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
Is anyone else creeped out by the Tom Sanders card? I mean that's the last card I would ever want to draw, I only have 4 legends and 2 epics, some UR Pros and a few SR pros, I am by no means stocked up on cards but I would still have no problem using Tom Sanders to train a legendComment

This would be really easy to figure out if everyone posted their board reset #'s. Could just assemble a distribution of all the reset boards and determine everything we need to know.IGN: illmatic1

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
Right, but they've also said that there's a cap. We know it's not a hard cap, but there are definitely clusters around certain ranges (200 for Legendary++, 300 for Star), and yet there are also outliers (350 for Legendary++, 450 for Star) that suggest it's not exactly a tight range.
It's prob way past the mathematical probability , and we are to few here for that to have happened.

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
False, this gives the impression that it is independent probability when it is clearly dependent. Every board clear's probability goes up as you get closer to the reset. My theory is that your probability is always 1/(reset - boards cleared). Therefore your chance on the first pick is 1/reset, then 1/reset - 1, and eventually it approaches 1 as you approach the reset number.
