If you need to be within 2000, you'll need at least 1k PPs. I'm currently ranked around 1600 and typing this, my rank should be going down. So thanks for making me reply to you. =)

Is there any sort of correlation with starting a season when rivals is out? Lol ever since I started a new season earlier, I can't win anything in rivals

Simple, the new gen console versions of 2k14 are so broke it is not even fun to play and there are daily server issues. I got fed up with it.
