Lol I think you're just a tad bit biased with your whole Nash argument. I've had two other forum members who agree with me. Not to discredit Nash or anything, but Kobe was more valuable to the Lakers at that time. And how does having a better roster NOT have matter?

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
I'll give you that I'm biased, but so are you lol. You can have two forum members, but I'll take the side of all the NBA analysts that voted for Nash. Can't we just agree that they are both great players? This started with Harden vs Curry lol.

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
Honestly, Harden and Curry mean a lot to both their teams. The difference is that the Warriors would still be decent without Curry, but the Rockets would probably miss the playoffs without Harden. Harden's leadership is more valuable than Curry's. The ball doesn't always need to be in Curry's hand and the Warriors do fine. Harden SHOULD be MVP (I'm saying this with a strong dislike for Harden and a Warrior supporter).Gundamduo - MyNBA2k15

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
Usually MVP goes to a player on a high seeded playoff team. Not my rule obviously, but it tends to be the trend.

I refuse to buy the $50 credit pack. I don't mind spending $5 every couple months on a game I enjoy, but that is greedy.

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
Oh I know, but still I hate that rule to a certain extent. MVP is always subjective so most people are gonna have different opinions, I just wish that people (not saying you, saying the voting members) didn't try to give clear cut criteria since it's a fluid thing.Gundamduo - MyNBA2k15

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
Nash had a better supporting cast no doubt...Kobe carried that horrible Lakers team, but at the same time he was chucking up tons of shots so yeah his impact might have been more noticeable. The other thing that could have swung some votes towards Nash is that he was always much more likeable and Kobe was/is kinda a douchebag.Comment

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
They are both great players, no denying that. I'm just trying to say that the MVP award is usually given to the player with the better supporting cast as well (which is why Kobe didn't beat Nash in the MVP race those 2 years). If the Lakers had ended up in the upper echelon of the West, I think Kobe would have taken it.
Was Kobe the better player? Yes. Do I want to admit that? No. Lol. I just feel that Nash is the MAIN reason that Phoenix was so successful. If the Lakers were a higher seed, Kobe would definitely be MVP. It's crazy that Kobe only has one MVP though.
