I have a guy on my season who I don't know what he's planning. He has a Tank Lineup he has HOF Pro Alonzo Mourning, HOF Pro Sam Jones, MVP Pro Larry Bird, Bob Pettit and Oscar Robertson and then his other players are his "common bench" players and he only energizes those MVP and HOF Pros I mentioned. He's currently 13th seed right now and our Playoffs will start tomorrow. I don't know if he's trying to stay on the bottom to be eliminate a real player on the top seed in the 1st round or he's just lazy.

Kobe isn't even close to being the greatest Laker of all time. He is definitely a first ballot hall of fame player, but he's nowhere near G.O.A.T. status. I'm going to assume you are a huge Lakers homer (your username sort of gives that bit away) and that you're also relatively young. Lew is the greatest Laker player ever, and Kobe was nowhere near as consistent or efficient. It's not even a real comparison.

I'd put Magic or West ahead of Kareem and Kobe. Magic, because he spent his whole career as a Laker and what he did for the franchise and the league. And West gets a bump for what he did in the front office. Only reason why I put them ahead of Kareem is because he was accomplished before becoming a Laker. Career wise, you can't deny what he did, but purely as greatest "Laker" Magic gets the nod.

His IGN is Javian, I was shocked as well I thought he was just a Bot but last night before I went to sleep I checked my last game and it was against him then I saw his tank lineup so I checked my previous games against him along with the game I played against him today and saw all the times I faced him he was using those HOF Pros and MVP Pros along with his common bench and I never faced him where his team is fully energized, its like he is playing to lose. He's currently 13th seed right now and I'm number 3 seed lowest I can get is 4th seed coz the 5th seed is a bot and has 16 more losses than I have so I'm really watching this season to make sure I don't face him in the 1st round coz I don't wanna deal with that who knows what kind of players he's hiding in his bench.

Being a die hard laker fan myself, it's pretty hard to argue against Magic or West but if Magic himself has called Kobe the greatest Laker of all time, I'm inclined to listen to him. Think about that man's competitive nature and he's willing to call him that considering all Magic did for the organization.

Not discrediting what he said, but you also have to remember Magic is a business man and has an image to uphold in front of the camera. That was around the time where Kobe was breaking the franchise records and Magic isn't going to steal his shine at the period of time. Behind the scenes I'm sure he tells everyone, "Kobe's one of the greatest but do y'all remember the tape? I was a baaaad man." lol

Why don't they just get a top seed and beat a bot in first round? Why do they wanna surprise another user and let him lose the chance to get a star?
I wish a Bibby comes out to every user that do this on purpose.

I have enough credits to be able to hot streak the whole RC, but I`m not sure I have attention span/dedication/motivation to get another RC Pro and I`m not sure whether or not it's best to spend those credits on getting another 2-3 Star Pros to bolster my RTTC line up ( I have 11 ) especially if RTTC is going to get harder if new rewards are added.



On a side note Triple OT in the blackhawks/nashville game

Yea I was thinking about going for top 100 but will probably settle for top 1000 and just save credits for playoff tier. And just hope I can get a couple days off during the first playoff tier RC.

I`m out for Anzac day and sunday so no point in grinding top 100, I`m just hoping the star card for the rewards are someone new otherwise I might just skip it all together. Going to start a season on Monday hoping I can win it and hope play off tier is released during the week so I can get a playoff card as a reward

Aaaahhhh Javian... Had him just in my previous season... He ended at 12th place and then he crushed over all of us...
Swept me in the Finals... His LU was full of HoFs and MVPs in the playoffs...

Question what was the cut-off for top 1k?

I am going to lose 1.5 days due to flying to the UK so I think it will be unlikely that I can make top 1000 but who knows... with a few hot streaks I guess anything is possible

Not to sure, I finished in the 150-200 range with around 7.5-8k points. I missed the same amount as you did. if you want the RC and star I suggest you hot streak as much as you can before you fly out if possible. I bought 4 1200 credit hot streak packs for the whole rc

And fingers crossed this one could be a slow one given playoff tier around the corner and recycled rivals teams.

I have Monta Ellis so would like to dupe him but need to do the math re: hotstreaks and whether it is worth it. The RC card will be surplus to requirements albeit it will flesh out my RttC lineup.

EDIT: so 1) Ellis has to be the start and 2) Mavs have to win

I think 1) is likely but 2) is unlikely so the decision might be made for me
