When you get into limiting how much money a potential customer can spend in a day is when they will never go down that route. I don't think they'd willingly put a cap on their potential profits.
The trick, I think, is to set that point limit high enough so that "casual" players who pay money to boost but don't have hours and hours will be almost able to hit it, with the boosts. That way they're not putting a cap on how much money they're realistically making.
