    Quite possibly they will lose "players", but as a business, unless that player is paying money to play, they wouldn't be counted as true "customers".               Thats true, but the players getting burned out are most likely paying customers. You have to play at least 8 hours a day to be competetive, so only players, that are very invested will spend that much time.
              You are more likely to spend money when you are invested and enjoy the game.
              Oh and most people will feel like they can only accomplish anything in the rivals event with paying, not everyone can play while being at work.
              A system with fixed points per day would benefit everyone involved.

                Well put. Insightful and obvious. If you're assumption is correct, then it undoubtedly worked on just about all of us here and we're a very small group in comparison to the total amount of players. It's 275,000 players on just iOS alone. Most of us here have spent $100-$3/$4k on this game so far. In short, without getting too deep into this, they've won and are still winning lol.

                  Oh for sure, and I agree. A fixed points per day would make sure people who don't want to pay can still stay competitive without playing 8-12 hours a day like it's their job, and for people who would rather pay a little and play a little to stay competitive too. Some fixed point system where it's somewhere inbetween the two groups.

                    Yeah, anyone who cares enough about the game to search out a forum and participate in it (us) are the most dedicated players.

                    They found out a way to make us pay by making the event 6 days long. If it were just 2 days, we could all just endure and play our brains out for those 48 hours. But since it's 6 days, you can tell our wills are breaking around day 4. This weekend is going to be crazy.

                      One of the fewest funny thing (for me, obviously) in this game was the possibility to collect picks, then it was fun to discover how many useful card you could collect in 200-300 picks

                      now it's just play-win-draft, play-win-draft, reach playoffs-tank because of pay players, play-win-draft, train random players just to free up your catalogue, play-win-draft...

                      too boring

                          But if you could only get so many points a day... then wouldn't it be impossible to catch up to anybody who hits that limit every day? Seems like that would take away all the competition in the event, which is kind of the whole point. Hell, we could have 100 people all tied for the #1 spot if they were to implement that.

                            These are all good points and ideas that have ran through my head at some point. Been trying to think of any system of modification to the existing system that could appease both sides. Something where they cold meet half way in sense. I just never mention any of it, cuz I know NWGamedad doesn't give a sh!t about what I have to say and probably just thinks I'm a whiny 16 yr old lol.

                            A fixed point system sounds like something plausible or at least an initial idea you could build around and tailor. I also thought about maybe something like putting a cap on how many hot streaks you can buy per day.

                              Maybe in addition to the point limit, you have a day limit. So at most you can hit that limit 5 out of the 6 days, and the 6th day is a "free" day when people can play as much as they want in order to make up the difference on any of the 5 days they missed because of other commitments. But only up to the 5 day point cap.
