There is no way to collect all the epic and legendary cards, not to speak of all the exclusive rivals cards without spending a very huge amount of money plus a ridiculos amount of time. You can collect all rare pro cards, as free to play user, thats possible.
I have drafted every rare card in this game plus around 85% of them twice after 10000 games. I also drafted 6 epic cards and zero legendary cards..
The main problem of collecting cards is that when you keep too many cards on your deck your ruin your season performance. So reaching play off round 2 or better to get your hands on some epic cards will become nearly impossible. The more cards you are holding the stronger your season opponents will be.
When you are fine with collecting just the 3 lower groups of cards. Go on thats possible, everything else wont work.

I realize it hurts my season performance, which I think is also part of the point and I also realize it's not possible to collect every epic pro. I'm not going for that, just keeping cards until they're combined then discarding.

I'll keep my point simple, if I ever reach the point where I have a full deck of rares waiting to be combined mixed with epics I want to keep, then I'm wrong and collections have no impact on anything. I don't think that point is ever going to happen though because the developers anticipated that issue.

I went back and read some older post...so if I start a season with a couple rares..a epic pro..a and commons I would be matched up with ppl that team average is like 200?

Not likely... You are matched according to your entire deck, not just your season players. Unless you meant 2000, then yes you probably would get matched with higher stats like that due to your Epic Pro. But again, it would depend on your entire deck and not just your cards in your season lineup so keeping your Epic Pro, or any other good cards, out of the season lineup wouldn't really change who you're matched up with.

As said the draft board doesnt care which cards you are holding or how many pro cards you have already collected. I have bought me a Stockton pro card via Teamcards for 10 bucks, guess which epic player I drafted 3 days later? Right John Stockton! Nevertheless you can collect all the rare cards simply by playing a huge amount of games. If you discard them after combination, you should have no problem with the 100 cards limit.
The main bug of this game is that the developers dont care about you collecting cards, they just want to collect your money.

The annoying thing was back when I first got a full lineup of Rare Pros, I got matched up with people with Epic Pros as their MVPs at 3.5k average stats. Ridiculous!

Damnnnn thats lucky! ive got nearly 1000 more wins than you and about 200 more losses and havent gotten lucky with a legend yet

Ur luck s still waiting for u at certain point. It will start with ur first legend pulled from rival clash

God that'd suck if that happened to me with the Stockton lol. I'm going to continue with my crazy theories as they have motivated me throughout this entire rivals event with plenty of free time waiting on some test results. I'm not buying a pack ever and will continue on with my rare pro collection.

Unfortunately they did suck me into buy some credits for panic hot streaks, they're looking like they won't be necessary though. It is safe to say 2K will always care about $.

But for those who may care about my crazy theories, haven't bought 1 pack, just completed 2 combines, next two cards, AC Green and Roy Hibbert, both rare pros I need to combine. If it's blind luck, I'll take it.

I've grinded so hard today, and moved so little :'(

And haven't gotten any good cards either :-(

Been a few spots back all afternoon.

Had a busy morn so didn't play much, but parked at 150 with 10k, that 125 spot looks like it would be an all day grind. I need a center better than bogut and the support leg will help I have only drafted 1 epic support so I could use it. So I get my Sunday back and will just play defense to maintain a buffer so I don't get dropped below 250.

After being 1600 in the morning im now 490.

11500 picks since epic and still rising this is getting pathetic already. Gamedad probably blocked my account from getting anything more than a rare.

How many hours exactly did you play?
